Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi 5G membawa perubahan besar dalam cara kita berkomunikasi dan mengakses informasi. Salah satu tantangan utamanya yaitu memastikan komputasi dan efisiensi energi berjalan optimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja Dirty Paper Coding dan Block Diagonalization terhadap nilai SINR, throughput, dan efisiensi energi pada sistem mmWave dengan teknik hybrid beamforming. Hybrid beamforming dipakai untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kapasitas suatu jaringan, dengan tujuan menekan penggunaan energi tanpa mengorbankan kinerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan konfigurasi antenna 128 hingga 256 elemen, dengan frekuensi 39 GHz, dengan simulasi menggunakan MATLAB. Parameter kinerja berfokus pada perhitungan SINR dan throughput, serta efisiensi energi dihitung berdasarkan rasio antara throughput dan total daya yang dikonsumsi. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa DPC dan BD mampu mengurangi interferensi, dan secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan throughput, dan efisiensi energi. Namun, algoritma BD lebih unggul daripada DPC baik dari nilai SINR, throughput, maupun efisiensi energi untuk sistem mmWave. ----- The development of 5G communication technology brings major changes in the way we communicate and access information. One of the main challenges is ensuring optimal computing and energy efficiency. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the performance of Dirty Paper Coding and Block Diagonalization on SINR values, throughput, and energy efficiency in mmWave systems with hybrid beamforming techniques. Hybrid beamforming is used to increase the efficiency and capacity of a network, with the aim of reducing energy consumption without sacrificing performance. This study uses an antenna configuration of 128 to 256 elements, with a frequency of 39 GHz, with simulations using MATLAB. Performance parameters focus on SINR and throughput calculations, and energy efficiency is calculated based on the ratio between throughput and total power consumed. Simulation results show that DPC and BD are able to reduce interference, and can significantly increase throughput, and energy efficiency. However, the BD algorithm is superior to DPC in both SINR values, throughput, and energy efficiency for mmWave systems.
