    Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has changed many aspects of human life, including education. One innovation implemented is the use of e-modules in learning activities. E-modules provide convenience and flexibility for students in accessing materials digitally and interactively. This study aims to obtain information regarding the application of problem-based e-modules to students' health literacy on the immune system material. Learning with the Problem Based Learning model encourages students to play a more active role in seeking information and solving problems relevant to their lives. The study used an experimental method with a pre-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest) in the form of a health literacy test and a student response questionnaire regarding the use of problem-based e-modules on the immune system material. Data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 application using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, effect size, and N-Gain. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores of students' health literacy (p = 0.009), accompanied by an N-Gain score (0.1138) which indicates that the effectiveness of learning using problem-based e-modules on the immune system material is still limited. This is because students do not fully understand the functions, mechanisms, and influencing factors related to immune system disease, resulting in less than optimal application of care, prevention, and health promotion measures in daily life. Therefore, it is recommended that the application of the material in the problem-based e-module be improved in terms of content and student interactivity for better outcomes.
