Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem monitoring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) menggunakan Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan pengalaman pengguna. Di banyak sektor, termasuk industri manufaktur, pengolahan data masih dilakukan secara manual, yang memakan waktu dan rawan kesalahan. Excel, meskipun fleksibel, membutuhkan otomatisasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensinya. Penelitian ini mengusulkan penggunaan VBA untuk mengotomatisasi proses pengolahan data, serta mendesain antarmuka yang ramah pengguna agar operator dapat beralih dengan mudah dari proses manual ke sistem digital. Studi ini juga mencakup pengembangan prototipe sistem monitoring OEE yang diuji melalui usability testing untuk memastikan kemudahan penggunaan dan efektivitasnya. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi praktis bagi perusahaan, khususnya di PT. International Paint Indonesia, dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan mengurangi kesalahan manusia melalui digitalisasi pengolahan data. ----- This research aims to develop a monitoring system for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to enhance efficiency and user experience. In many sectors, including manufacturing, data processing is still performed manually, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. While Excel is a flexible tool, it requires automation to maximize its efficiency. This study proposes the use of VBA to automate data processing and to design a user-friendly interface that enables operators to transition smoothly from manual processes to a digital system. The study also includes the development of an OEE monitoring system prototype, which was tested through usability testing to ensure its ease of use and effectiveness. The results are expected to provide practical solutions for companies, particularly at PT. International Paint Indonesia, by improving productivity and reducing human errors through the digitalization of data processing.
