    Abstract

    Perkembangan teknologi di bidang telekomunikasi mendorong kebutuhan akses internet dengan kecepatan tinggi dan stabil. Fiber to The Home (FTTH) merupakan solusi yang tepat untuk kawasan yang padat seperti Cluster Catalonia Zona Eropa Deltamas Bekasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji kelayakan jaringan FTTH menggunakan GE Smallworld dan OptiSystem. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan infrastruktur, perancangan jalur feeder dan distribusi, serta penempatan perangkat kunci seperti STO, ODC, ODP, dan tiang kabel berdasarkan survei lapangan dan data teknis. Uji kelayakan dilakukan melalui simulasi menggunakan Optisystem dan pengukuran di lapangan, dengan parameter utama meliputi Power Link Budget (PLB), Bit Error Rate (BER), dan Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai PLB pada seluruh ODP baik melalui perhitungan manual, simulasi OptiSystem, maupun pengukuran lapangan, berada dalam rentang 20,88 dB hingga 21,01 dB, sedangkan hasil simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak OptiSystem menunjukkan nilai antara 20,823 dB hingga 20,989 dB. Adapun pengukuran langsung di lapangan menggunakan Optical Power Meter menghasilkan nilai yang bervariasi antara 18,49 dB hingga 21,09 dB, BER di kisaran antara 2,77 ×〖 10〗^(-59) hingga 1,29 ×〖 10〗^(-34), dan OSNR di atas 25 dB, sehingga memenuhi standar teknis PT Telkom. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa rancangan jaringan FTTH layak diterapkan pada kawasan hunian baru, dan dapat menjadi referensi untuk desain serupa. ----- The advancement of telecommunication technology has driven the demand for high-speed and stable internet access. Fiber to the Home (FTTH) is an appropriate solution for densely populated areas such as Cluster Catalonia, European Zone of Deltamas, Bekasi. This study aims to design and assess the feasibility of an FTTH network using GE SmallWorld and OptiSystem. The methodology includes infrastructure needs analysis, feeder and distribution path design, and the placement of key devices such as STO, ODC, ODP, and cable poles based on field surveys and technical data. The feasibility test was conducted through simulations using OptiSystem and field measurements, with main parameters including Power Link Budget (PLB), Bit Error Rate (BER), and Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). The results show that PLB values for all ODPs, obtained through manual calculation, OptiSystem simulation, and field measurement, range from 20.88 dB to 21.01 dB, while the OptiSystem simulation results range from 20.823 dB to 20.989 dB. Direct field measurements using an Optical Power Meter produced values between 18.49 dB and 21.09 dB. The BER values ranged from 2,77 ×〖 10〗^(-59) to 1,29 ×〖 10〗^(-34), and the OSNR values were above 25 dB, thereby meeting PT Telkom's technical standards. The study concludes that the designed FTTH network is feasible for implementation in new residential areas and can serve as a reference for similar designs.
