Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan model alat praktikum fase bulan interaktif berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) untuk laboratorium IPA SMP. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh rendahnya literasi sains siswa Indonesia, kebutuhan alat peraga dalam kurikulum yang berlaku, tingginya miskonsepsi pada materi fase bulan yang abstrak, dan keterbatasan evaluasi praktikum konvensional. Metode penelitian mengadaptasi pendekatan pengembangan produk yang sistematis, mencakup perancangan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak dengan dua mode operasional: mode belajar (kontrol manual via potensiometer atau otomatis via aplikasi Blynk) dan mode ujian (terintegrasi dengan aplikasi Blynk dan layanan cloud untuk pencatatan data otomatis). Pengujian kualitas produk dilakukan melalui black box testing untuk fungsionalitas, angket validasi ahli materi untuk kesesuaian isi materi yang disajikan, dan System Usability Scale (SUS) untuk usabilitas oleh guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat praktikum yang dikembangkan berhasil diimplementasikan. Pengujian fungsionalitas menggunakan black box testing mencapai tingkat keberhasilan 100%, mengindikasikan bahwa seluruh fitur dan komponen alat bekerja sesuai rancangan dan harapan. Validasi ahli materi mencapai skor 89%, menegaskan akurasi isi materi ilmiah alat dan relevansinya dengan kurikulum IPA SMP. Selain itu, skor System Usability Scale (SUS) yan didapat menunjukkan skor 74,62 yang masuk dalam kategori “Good” dan status “Acceptable”, menunjukkan bahwa alat ini mudah digunakan, inovatif, dan memenuhi harapan pengguna. Dengan demikian, model alat ini berhasil berkontribusi dalam menyediakan media pembelajaran interaktif yang fungsional dan valid, serta berpotensi memfasilitasi evaluasi praktikum yang lebih efisien, relevan dengan kebutuhan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan sains di Indonesia dan pengembangan literasi digital siswa. ----- This research aims to design and implement an interactive Internet of Things (IoT)-based moon phase practical tool model for junior high school science laboratories. The research is motivated by the low scientific literacy of Indonesian students, the need for practical tools in the applicable curriculum, prevalent misconceptions regarding the abstract moon phase topic, and limitations of conventional practical evaluation methods. The methodology adopted a systematic product development approach, encompassing hardware and software design with two operational modes: a learning mode (manual control via potentiometer or automatic via Blynk application) and an examination mode (integrated with the Blynk application and cloud services for automatic data recording). Product quality testing was conducted through black box testing for functionality, material expert validation questionnaires for content accuracy, and the System Usability Scale (SUS) for usability by teachers and students. The results demonstrate that the developed practical tool was successfully implemented. Functionality testing using black box testing achieved a 100% success rate, indicating that all features and components operated as designed and expected. Material expert validation attained a score of 89%, confirming the scientific accuracy of the tool's content and its relevance to the junior high school science curriculum. Furthermore, the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded a score of 74,62 falling into the “Good” category and “Acceptable” status, showing that the tool is user-friendly, innovative, and meets user expectations. Thus, this tool successfully contributes to providing a functional and valid interactive learning medium, with the potential to facilitate more efficient practical evaluation, relevant to the need for improving the quality of science education in Indonesia and enhancing students' digital literacy.
