    Abstract

    Tantangan abad 21 menekankan pentingnya memperoleh keterampilan abad 21 dalam pendidikan, di antaranya keterampilan hidup dan karir untuk memudahkan anak memilih karir masa depan. Salah satunya, keterampilan produktivitas dan akuntabilitas yang masih perlu distimulasi lebih untuk mengelola dan bertanggung jawab akan tugasnya, serta perlu lebih mendorong proses pembelajaran yang mengenalkan keterampilan tersebut. Oleh karenanya, STEAM dipilih menjadi pembelajaran untuk mengenalkan keterampilan produktivitas dan akuntabilitas. Tujuan penelitian yakni mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran guru, faktor, tantangan, dan dampak pendekatan STEAM terhadap keterampilan produktivitas dan akuntabilitas.Metode yang digunakan yakni Mixed Method dengan concurrent embedded design. Pada metode ini dilakukan kombinasi data antara, data primer kualitatif berupa wawancara, catatan anekdot, dan dokumentasi, serta data sekunder kuantitatif berupa data profil perkembangan keterampilan produktivitas dan akuntabilitas. Penelitian melibatkan 2 guru dan 14 anak kelompok A di PAUD Labschool UPI Purwakarta. Data kualitatif di analisis menggunakan Miles & Huberman, sedangkan data keterampilan produktivitas dan akuntabilitas di analisis dengan menghitung persentase kemunculan indikator perilakunya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran guru yakni menampilkan hasil pekerjaan anak di lingkungan kelas, memberikan motivasi, memberikan kebebasan berkarya dan menyediakan alat bahan, mendorong anak melakukan refleksi, mendorong anak aktif dan mengapresiasi. Dampak STEAM terlihat signifikan dengan kategori sudah muncul sebesar 93% dan belum muncul sebesar 7%. Faktor yang menjadi perhatian yakni pemahaman anak terhadap tugas dan tujuan pembelajaran, sikap egosentris anak, kemampuan berpikir kritis, aturan waktu yang ditetapkan guru, implementasi pembelajaran selain STEAM, dan motivasi orang tua. Tantangan yang dihadapi guru seperti anak pesimis, menentukan kelompok, memastikan anak mengerjakan tugas, dan berbagi pengawasan memotivasi. ----- The challenges of the 21st century emphasize the importance of acquiring 21st century skills in education, including life and career skills to facilitate children in choosing future careers. One of them, productivity and accountability skills still need more stimulation to manage and be responsible for their tasks, and need to further encourage the learning process that introduces these skills. Therefore, STEAM was chosen as the learning to introduce productivity and accountability skills. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the role of teachers, factors, challenges, and the impact of STEAM learning on productivity and accountability skills. The method used is Mixed Method with concurrent embedded design. In this method, a combination of data is carried out between, primary qualitative data in the form of interviews, anecdotal notes, and documentation, and secondary quantitative data in the form of productivity and accountability skill development profile data. The study involved 2 teachers and 14 group A children at PAUD Labschool UPI Purwakarta. Qualitative data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman, while productivity and accountability skills data were analyzed by calculating the percentage of occurrence of behavioral indicators. The results showed that the role of teachers is to display children's work in the classroom environment, provide motivation, provide freedom of creativity and provide materials, encourage children to reflect, encourage children to be active and appreciate. The impact of STEAM was significant with the category already appearing at 93% and not appearing at 7%. Factors of concern were children's understanding of learning tasks and objectives, children's egocentric attitudes, critical thinking skills, time rules set by teachers, implementation of learning other than STEAM, and parental motivation. Challenges faced by teachers include pessimistic children, determining groups, ensuring children complete assignments, and sharing motivating supervision.
