    Abstract

The Bogor region, particularly Mount Salak and Gunung Halimun Salak National Park (TNGHS), is a tectonically and volcanically active area with the potential for significant seismic activity. This study aims to obtain a more accurate distribution of earthquake occurrences and understand the seismicity patterns in the region. The method used in this study is hypocenter relocation using the Double-Difference method, with earthquake catalog data from BMKG that includes earthquake depth, coordinates, magnitude, and seismic wave arrival time. The data was processed to improve the accuracy of hypocenter location, which was then analyzed spatially and temporally, and correlated with geological conditions and active faults in the study area. The results of the study indicate that seismic activity occurs at shallow depths, with a dominant east-west distribution. Spatially, earthquake hypocenters are distributed around Gunung Halimun Salak National Park. Temporally, the hypocenter depth pattern indicates the potential for ongoing seismic activity in the weak crustal zone, possibly influenced by the presence of unmapped faults, hot fluid movement, and swarm earthquake activity. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that hypocenter relocation plays an important role in more accurate seismic mapping, continuous monitoring, and risk mitigation planning.
