    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pengembangan kemampuan bahasa pada anak usia dini, khususnya usia 2–3 tahun yang berada pada masa keemasan perkembangan bahasa. Observasi awal di TK Al-Falah menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbahasa anak masih rendah, seperti belum mampu menyebutkan nama benda di sekitarnya dengan jelas. Hal ini disebabkan oleh belum tersedianya media pembelajaran yang menarik dan sesuai dengan karakteristik usia anak. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa flashcard untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan berbahasa anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran “flashcard” yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam menstimulasi kemampuan bahasa anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahapan analisis (analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media flashcard sangat layak digunakan, dengan skor rata-rata dari ahli media sebesar 82,8% dan dari ahli materi sebesar 90,6%. Uji efektivitas menggunakan paired sample t-test menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 (p < 0,05), sehingga Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media flashcard. Media flashcard terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa anak usia 2–3 tahun di TK Al-Falah. This research is motivated by the importance of developing language skills in early childhood, especially children aged 2–3 years, who are in the golden age of language development. Initial observations at TK Al-Falah revealed that children's language skills were still low, such as being unable to clearly name objects around them. This issue is partly due to the lack of engaging learning media that are appropriate for the children's developmental characteristics. Therefore, the researcher developed a flashcard-based learning media to optimize the language development of 2–3-year-old children. The purpose of this study is to produce a feasible and effective "flashcard" learning media to stimulate early language development. This study employed the Design and Development (D&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Validation results indicated that the flashcard media was highly feasible, with an average score of 97.5% from media experts and 98.5% from material experts. The effectiveness was further assessed using a paired sample t-test, which showed a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a rejection of the null hypothesis. Therefore, there is a significant difference in children's language abilities before and after using the flashcard media. The flashcard media is proven to be effective in improving the language skills of children aged 2–3 years at TK Al-Falah.
