    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pelaksanaan event terhadap perekonomian pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) sektor Food & Beverage (F&B) di sekitar Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah pesatnya perkembangan industri event, khususnya festival musik dan olahraga, yang berpotensi menciptakan peluang ekonomi bagi pelaku UMKM lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, studi literatur, dokumentasi, dan wawancara terhadap pelaku UMKM F&B yang beroperasi di radius sekitar JIS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan event di JIS berdampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan permintaan produk serta pendapatan UMKM F&B. Dampak tersebut muncul dalam bentuk peningkatan jumlah pengunjung, lonjakan penjualan, serta peluang untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar. Selain itu, strategi promosi, kesiapan produk, dan lokasi usaha menjadi faktor penting yang memperkuat dampak ekonomi dari event terhadap UMKM. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa event berskala besar di JIS memiliki kontribusi positif terhadap penguatan ekonomi lokal, khususnya di sektor kuliner. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pelaku UMKM dalam merancang strategi usaha saat berlangsungnya event, serta menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi pembuat kebijakan untuk mendorong kolaborasi antara industri event dan UMKM lokal. This study aims to analyze the impact of event implementation on the economy of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector around the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). The background of this research lies in the rapid growth of the event industry, particularly music festivals and sports events, which have the potential to create economic opportunities for local MSMEs. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, literature review, documentation, and interviews with F&B MSME actors operating within the vicinity of JIS. The results of the study indicate that events held at JIS significantly influence the increase in product demand and income of F&B MSMEs. This impact is reflected in the surge of visitors, higher sales volume, and the opportunity to expand market reach. Furthermore, promotion strategies, product readiness, and business location are key factors that strengthen the economic impact of events on MSMEs. The study concludes that large-scale events at JIS contribute positively to strengthening the local economy, especially in the culinary sector. This research is expected to serve as a reference for MSME actors in planning effective business strategies during events and as a consideration for policymakers to encourage collaboration between the event industry and local MSMEs.
