Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem monitoring karyawan berbasis Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) pada Microsoft Excel sebagai solusi atas monitoring manual menggunakan PowerPoint (PPT) di PT. PLN UP3 Purwakarta. Sistem sebelumnya tidak efisien, rawan kesalahan, tidak mendukung pembaruan data real-time, dan menyulitkan evaluasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Aplikasi dikembangkan dengan fitur input capaian kerja, rekap otomatis, grafik dinamis, pengelolaan database karyawan, serta proteksi login berbasis level. Pengujian dilakukan dengan usability testing menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) terhadap 16 responden dari berbagai unit kerja. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan skor SUS rata-rata 81 dengan kategori “Good”. Implementasi aplikasi ini mempercepat pelaporan, meningkatkan akurasi data, mempermudah analisis capaian, serta mendukung budaya kerja akuntabel. Aplikasi juga mendorong transformasi digital berbiaya rendah dan relevan diadopsi perusahaan skala serupa. ----- This study aims to develop an employee monitoring application based on Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in Microsoft Excel as a solution to the manual monitoring process using PowerPoint (PPT) at PT. PLN UP3 Purwakarta. The previous system was inefficient, error-prone, lacked real-time data updates, and hindered performance evaluation. The research method applied is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The application was developed with features such as work achievement input, automatic recapitulation, dynamic charts, employee database management, and login protection with user-level access. Testing was conducted through usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 16 respondents from various work units. The evaluation results showed an average SUS score of 81, categorized as “Good.” The implementation of this application accelerated reporting, improved data accuracy, simplified achievement analysis, and supported an accountable work culture. It also encourages low-cost digital transformation and is relevant to be adopted by companies of similar scale.
