    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan proses beserta hasil dari implementasi bahan ajar piano pada materi musik barok berbasis lagu anak Indonesia serta kelebihan dan kekurangan dari bahan ajar tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Formative Research (FR) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Formative research merupakan pendekatan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengoptimalkan program atau intervensi melalui proses evaluasi berkelanjutan selama implementasi. Pada penelitian ini yang diharapkan bahwa dengan bahan ajar yang diimplementasikan, mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan diri dari segi aspek musikal seperti kemampuan membaca notasi, level suara dan penjarian. Implementasi bahan ajar ini diharapkan pula dapat memberikan pemantapan kepada mahasiswa dalam proses memahami dan mempelajari konsep musik barok pada instrumen piano dengan pendekatan budaya lokal (lagu-lagu anak Indonesia). Sasaran pembelajaran ini berbentuk meningkatnya kemampuan praktik memainkan piano musik barok. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa implementasi bahan ajar piano gaya barok berbasis lagu anak Indonesia dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dari segi aspek musikal serta memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mempelajari materi musik barok khususnya pada instrumen piano. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi penggunaan bahan ajar yang terbarukan pada materi musik lainnya. Implementasi bahan ajar ini dapat menjadi ide bagi penelitian berikutnya, untuk dijadikan sebuah model pembelajaran piano, bahkan dapat dikembangkan lagi pada pembelajaran musik lainnya. This research aims to find out and describe the process and results of implementing piano teaching materials on baroque music material based on Indonesian children’s songs as well as the advantages and disadvantages of these teaching materials. This research uses the formative research (fr) research method with a qualitative approach. Formative research is a research approach that aims to develop and optimize programs or interventions through an evaluation process during implementation. In this research hoped that with implemented teaching materials, students can improve their abilities in terms of musical aspects such as the ability to read notation, sound level and fingering. It is also hoped that the implementation of this teaching material can provide consolidation to students in the process of understanding and studying the concept of baroque music on the piano instrument with a local cultural approach (Indonesian children’s songs). The target of this lesson is ti increase the ability to practice playing the piano in baroque music. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research prove that the implementation of baroque style piano teaching maerials based on Indonesian Children’s songs can improve students’ abilities in terms of musical aspects and make it easier for students to learn baroque music material, espesially on piano instruments. It is that the results of this research can become a reference for the use of renewable teaching materials in other music materials. This implementation of teaching materials can be an idea for future research, to be used as a model for piano learning, adn can even be further developed for other music lessons.
