Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran guru dalam meningkatkan partisipasi ABK melalui metode bermain di kelas reguler. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di satu Taman kanak-kanak yang berada di purwakarta Subjek penelitian ini guru kelas dan anak berkebutuhan khusus yang berada dalam kelas reguler. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang kreatif dan adaptif dalam mengubah aktivitas belajar menjadi permainan yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kompetensi dan strategi guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif, suportif, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan individual siswa. metode bermain yang diterapkan oleh guru mampu meningkatkan partisipasi ABK dalam pembelajaran. Dengan pendekatan ini, ABK menunjukkan peningkatan dalam perilaku disiplin, keterlibatan dalam tugas, serta pengembangan keterampilan sosial ----- This research aims to identify the role of teachers in enhancing the participation of children with special needs (ABK) through play-based methods in regular classrooms. The research method employed is qualitative research. This study was conducted in a kindergarten located in Purwakarta. The research subjects were classroom teachers and children with special needs in regular classes. Data collection techniques included observation and documentation, which were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that teachers play a role as creative and adaptive facilitators in transforming learning activities into enjoyable and meaningful games. This research emphasizes the importance of teacher competence and strategies in creating an inclusive, supportive, and needs-oriented learning environment for individual students. The play-based methods implemented by teachers effectively increase the participation of children with special needs in learning. Through this approach, children with special needs show improvement in disciplinary behavior, task engagement, and the development of social skills.
