Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah kelompok teman sebaya berpengaruh terhadap terjadinya perilaku bullying siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung dengan mengambil siswa sebagai objek penelitian sekaligus responden. Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan, yaitu : 1) untuk mengetahui gambaran umum mengenai kelompok teman sebaya, 2) untuk mengetahui gambaran umum mengenai perilaku bullying siswa, 3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh kelompok teman sebaya terhadap terjadinya perilaku bullying siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala ordinal atau Likert. Ukuran sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 100 responden yang berasal dari tiga SMA Negeri yang berbeda dengan teknik pengambilan sampel proporsional. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan tabel distribusi frekuensi, koefisien korelasi dan koefisien determinasi dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 20. Koefisien korelasi dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Rank Spearman karena data penelitian merupakan data ordinal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Siswa SMA cenderung mempertimbangkan kesamaan usia, tingkat kelas, minat dan hobi, serta tujuan dalam memilih dan menentukan kelompok teman sebaya, 2) Sebagian besar siswa SMA pernah melakukan perilaku bullying baik secara verbal, fisik maupun psikis. Namun yang paling sering adalah bullying secara psikis, 3) Kelompok teman sebaya berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku bullying siswa di SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,360 dan ρ < 0,05 , serta koefisien determinasi sebesar 13%. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa sebanyak 13% dari variabel dependen dipengaruhi oleh variabel independen. Sedangkan sisanya sebanyak 87% dipengaruhi oleh variabel independen lain yang tidak termasuk pada penelitian ini. This research was conducted to find out if the peer group influence on the occurrence of behaviors bullying of students in the school. This research was conducted at the high school in the city of Bandung by taking students as an object of research and the respondent. This study has three objectives, namely: 1) to figure out a general overview of the cohort peers, 2) to figure out a general overview about the behavior of bullying students, 3) to determine the influence of peer groups against the occurrence of behaviors bullying students. Data collected through questionnaires using charging scale Likert or ordinal. The size of the sample used in this study is as much as 100 respondents coming from three different high school with proportional sampling technique. After the data has been collected, carried out the data analysis techniques using a frequency distribution table, coefficient of correlation and coefficient of determination by using SPSS software assistance 20. The correlation coefficient is calculated by using the formula of Rank Spearman because research data is ordinal data. The results showed that: 1) high school students tend to consider the similarities in age, grade level, interests and hobbies, as well as a goal in selecting and determining peer groups, 2) mostly high school students bullying behavior is never done either in verbal, physical or psychic. But the most frequent is bullying psychologically, 3) Group of peers influenced positively and significantly to student bullying behaviour in SMA Negeri Bandung with a coefficient of correlation of 0,360 and ρ < 0,05, as well as the coefficient of determination of 13%. This illustrates that as much as 13% of the dependent variable is affected by the independent variable. While the rest as much as 87% are influenced by other independent variables that are not included in this research.
