Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berupa e-book “KEKAL” interaktif pada materi kearifan lokal Sumedang untuk mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) kelas IV sekolah dasar. Pengembangan dilakukan sebagai solusi atas terbatasnya media digital yang bervariasi, kontekstual dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, khususnya dalam memahami materi abstrak seperti kearifan lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Branch, yang mencakup tahap Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Produk dikembangkan menggunakan platform Canva serta dilengkapi dengan elemen multimedia seperti video, podcast, dan kuis Wordwall. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa e-book “KEKAL” memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 97% dari ahli materi dan 96,6% dari ahli media. Sementara itu, implementasi kepada siswa menghasilkan skor 87,7% pada uji perorangan, 89,3% pada uji kelompok kecil, dan 93% pada uji kelompok besar. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, e-book “KEKAL” dinyatakan layak dan praktis sebagai media pembelajaran IPAS yang membantu siswa memahami materi secara lebih visual, kontekstual, dan menyenangkan. This study aims to develop a digital learning medium in the form of an interactive e-book titled “KEKAL”, focusing on the topic of Sumedang local wisdom for the Science and Social Studies subject in fourth-grade elementary school. The development was carried out as a solution to the limited availability of digital media that is varied, contextual, and aligned with students’ needs, particularly in understanding abstract content such as local wisdom. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model by Branch, which includes the stages of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product was developed using the Canva platform and is equipped with multimedia elements such as videos, podcasts, and Wordwall-based quizzes. Validation results showed that the “KEKAL” e-book received an average score of 97% from content experts and 96.6% from media experts. Meanwhile, implementation results showed scores of 87.7% in individual trials, 89.3% in small group trials, and 93% in large group trials. Based on these findings, the “KEKAL” e-book is considered feasible and practical as a learning medium for science and social studies that helps students understand the material in a more visual, contextual, and enjoyable way.
