Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis chatbot pada materi luas daerah bangun datar untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep geometri yang abstrak dan keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah desain dan pengembangan (D&D) dengan pendekatan model ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahap, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Pada tahap analisis, dilakukan identifikasi kebutuhan melalui wawancara dengan guru dan telaah kurikulum. Tahap desain mencakup penyusunan alur percakapan chatbot, perencanaan visual, serta pemilihan platform. Tahap pengembangan melibatkan pembuatan media chatbot menggunakan platform Smojo.Ai dan integrasi elemen multimedia dari Canva dan Blogspot. Media kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli media dan materi. Selanjutnya, pada tahap implementasi, media diuji coba secara terbatas dan luas kepada siswa dan guru kelas IV SD, serta pada tahap evaluasi, diperoleh tanggapan positif dari guru maupun siswa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa chatbot bernama MAMAT ini dinilai sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan menyenangkan. Penggunaan chatbot membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik, memudahkan siswa memahami materi secara visual, serta meningkatkan motivasi belajar mereka. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang mendukung proses pembelajaran matematika yang kontekstual dan interaktif. This study aims to develop a chatbot-based learning media for the topic of area of plane figures for fourth-grade elementary school students. The background of this research is based on students' difficulties in understanding abstract geometric concepts and the limitations of interactive learning media. The method used is design and development (D&D) with the ADDIE model approach which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In the analysis stage, needs are identified through interviews with teachers and curriculum review. The design stage includes the development of chatbot conversation flows, visual planning, and platform selection. The development stage involves the creation of chatbot media using the Smojo.Ai platform and the integration of multimedia elements from Canva and Blogspot. The media is then validated by media and material experts. Next, in the implementation stage, the media is tested on a limited and broad scale with fourth-grade elementary school students and teachers, and in the evaluation stage, positive responses are obtained from both teachers and students. The evaluation results show that the chatbot named MAMAT is considered very suitable for use as a contextual and enjoyable learning medium. The use of chatbots makes learning more interesting, makes it easier for students to understand the material visually, and increases their learning motivation. This research provides a real contribution to the development of learning media based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology that supports contextual and interactive mathematics learning processes.
