    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bermain kasti siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Teaching Games For Understanding (TGFU) di SDN Heuleut I Majalengka. Penelitian ini melibatkan 27 siswa kelas V SDN Heuleut I Majalengka yang terdiri dari 17 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam bermain kasti yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya variasi model pembelajaran yang digunakan serta pendekatan yang belum terfokus pada pemahaman permainan. Motode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian berdasarkan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan sebesar 90% tingkat keterampilan bermain kasti siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tahap pemantauan dan evaluasi dengan menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan lembar aktivitas guru. Kemudian data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I menunjukkan tingkat ketuntasan sebesar 37,1% atau 10 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan. Pada siklus II, tingkat ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 70,3% atau 19 siswa. Sementara itu, pada siklus III, ketuntasan mencapai 92,6% atau sebanyak 25 siswa telah mencapai ketuntasan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Teaching Games For Understanding (TGFU) efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan bermain kasti siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan referensi bagi guru dalam memilih model pembelajaran yang tepat guna mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang optimal. This study aims to improve students' rounders playing skills through the application of the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGFU) learning model at SDN Heuleut I Majalengka. The study involved 27 fifth-grade students of SDN Heuleut I Majalengka, consisting of 17 male students and 10 female students. The background of this study is the low ability of students in playing rounders, which is caused by the lack of variety in learning models used and an approach that has not yet focused on understanding the game. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a research design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and evaluation. The study was conducted in three cycles. The success indicator in this study was set at 90% proficiency in students' rounders playing skills. Data collection was carried out during the monitoring and evaluation phases using student activity observation sheets and teacher activity sheets. The data were then analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the study in the first cycle showed a success rate of 37.1% or 10 students who achieved proficiency. In the second cycle, the success rate increased to 70.3% or 19 students. Meanwhile, in the third cycle, proficiency reached 92.6% or 25 students who achieved success. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGFU) learning model is effective in improving elementary school students' rounders playing skills. This study is also expected to serve as a reference for teachers in selecting appropriate learning models to achieve optimal learning objectives.
