    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang berhubungan dengan pemecahan masalah matematis, khususnya mengenai bilangan bulat. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diterapkan model pembelajaran TGT yang dilengkapi dengan media puzzle role-playing Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan NonEquivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas di SDN Pegadungan 07 yang masing masing berjumlah 30 siswa, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang mengimplementasikan model TGT dengan bantuan puzzle-role playing dan kelas kontrol yang menjalankan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD. Hasil analisis N-gain menunjukkan peningkatan skor sebesar 0,64, dengan kategori "sedang" dan persentase efektivitas sebesar 64%, yang dikategorikan sebagai "cukup efektif." Pada model TGT berbantuan puzzle role-playing Selain itu, hasil analisis pengaruh menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan media puzzle role-playing memberikan kontribusi sebesar 38% terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan media puzzle role-playing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Model ini dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa sejak dini. ----- This research was driven by the limited ability of students to solve mathematical problems, especially those involving integer concepts. To overcome this challenge, the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model was implemented, enhanced with puzzle-based role-playing media. A quasi-experimental approach with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design was utilized. The participants were two fifth-grade classes at SDN Pegadungan 07, each comprising 30 students. The experimental group received instruction through the TGT model integrated with puzzle role-playing, while the control group was taught using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning strategy. The N-gain analysis revealed a score improvement of 0.64, which is categorized as moderate, with an effectiveness rate of 64%, indicating it to be fairly effective. Additionally, the contribution analysis showed that the TGT model combined with puzzle role-playing contributed 38% to the enhancement of students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. In conclusion, the integration of the TGT learning model with puzzle role-playing media has a significant and positive impact on improving students’ ability to solve mathematical problems at the elementary level. This approach represents a promising alternative instructional method for developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills from an early stage.
