Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja mengajar guru di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) se-Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode angket tertutup dan populasinya adalah guru PNS MAN se-Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, serta sampel penelitian berjumlah 77 orang. Hasil perhitungan Weight Means Score (WMS) variabel X (Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah) adalah 2,89 yang berada pada kategori baik, sedangkan pada variabel Y (Kinerja Mengajar Guru) adalah 3,30 berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil analisis korelasi variabel X dan Y adalah 0,329, artinya pengaruh variabel X terhadap Y adalah rendah. Hasil uji signifikansi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan variabel X dan Y, dan Hasil uji diterminasi menunjukkan bahwa kinerja mengajar guru dipengaruhi oleh supervisi akademik sebesar 10,8% dan 89,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti motivasi, kemampuan, faktor kepribadian, kedisiplinan, iklim kerja, dan lain-lain. Hasil analisis regresi yaitu Ŷ = 32,463 + 0,329X yang bersifat signifikan dan linier. Kesimpulan dari penelitian menyatakan bahwa supervisi akademik kepala sekolah berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja mengajar guru di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) se-Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Adapun saran dari penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor perlu melaksanakan kegiatan supervisi secara terprogram dan berkelanjutan serta dapat membimbing dan membina guru untuk meningkatkan kinerja mengajarnya. Guru perlu meningkatkan kembali kreatifitas dan kemampuannya dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dan dalam menghadapi perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi. The research purpose to obtain description about influence of the principal academic supervision toward the teaching performance of teachers in Public Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) throughout the District of Tasikmalaya. The method used in this study is description method with a quantitative approach. Data collection technique is using a enclosed questionnaire and its population is teachers in MAN throughout the District of Tasikmalaya, and then total sample amount 77 people. Calculation result using Weight Means Score (WMS) of the variable X (The Principal Academik Supervision) is 2,89 in the good category, and for variable Y (Teaching Performance of Teachers) is 3,30 in the very well category. The result of correlation analysis variable X and Y is 0,329, it mean is influence variable X toward variable Y is low. The result of significance test indicate that there is significance influence variable X toward variable Y, and the result of determination test indicate that teaching performance of teacher is influenced by principal academic supervision of 10,8% and 892% is influenced by others factor example motivation, ability, personality’s factor, discipline, climate of activity, etc. the result of the regression analysis is Ŷ = 32,463 + 0,329X which are significant and linear. The conclution of this study is the principal academic supervision has significantly effect toward teaching performance of teachers in MAN throughtout the District of Tasikmalaya. The suggestion of thin study is the principal as a supervisor need to impelement activities in a programmed and continuous supervision, and can guide and develop teachers to increase their teaching performance. Teachers need to increase their creativity and ability to implement the learning process and in dealing with development of Science dan Technology.
