Abstract
ABSTRAK Media pembelajaran berfungsi sebagai perantara untuk menyampaikan informasi materi daerahku dan kekayaan alamnya yang bersifat abstrak kepada peserta didik SD yang masih dalam tahap berpikir konkret, dan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efektivitas media Rekayasa Gunung Meletus terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi serta pemahaman siswa kelas IV SD. Dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen desain nonequivalent control group design, di mana populasi penelitian terdiri dari 42 peserta didik yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media Rekayasa Gunung Meletus sebanyak 21 peserta didik dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 21 peserta didik yang tidak menggunakan media tersebut, dengan teknik sampling cluster random, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, tes, dan observasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, homogenitas, independent sample t test, dan uji N-Gain dengan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Rekayasa Gunung Meletus efektif meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik dengan rata-rata persentase angket respon sangat setuju dan setuju sebesar 78,08% pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan 45,15% pada kelas kontrol, serta hasil uji t menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol (t = 3,338, Sig. < 0,05), dengan rata-rata N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 52,60% (cukup efektif) dan 17,16% pada kelas kontrol (tidak efektif), sementara observasi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 100% pada kelas eksperimen dan 55,84% pada kelas kontrol, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Rekayasa Gunung Meletus efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial materi daerahku dan kekayaan alamnya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan pemahaman siswa kelas IV SD. ABSTRACT Learning media functions as an intermediary to convey abstract information about my region and its natural resources to elementary school students who are still in the concrete thinking stage, and this study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Eruption Volcano Engineering media on collaboration skills and understanding of grade IV elementary school students. By using the quasi-experimental method of nonequivalent control group design, where the study population consisted of 42 students divided into two groups, namely the experimental class using the Eruption Volcano Engineering media as many as 21 students and the control class as many as 21 students who did not use the media, with cluster random sampling techniques, data collection was carried out through questionnaires, tests, and observations, and analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, independent sample t test, and N-Gain tests with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study showed that the use of the Volcanic Eruption Engineering media effectively improved students' collaboration skills with an average percentage of strongly agree and agree questionnaire responses of 78.08% in the experimental class compared to 45.15% in the control class, and the results of the t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes (t = 3.338; Sig. <0.05), with an average N-Gain in the experimental class of 52.60% (quite effective) and 17.16% in the control class (ineffective), while observations showed an average value of 100% in the experimental class and 55.84% in the control class, so it can be concluded that the Volcanic Eruption Engineering media is effective in learning Natural and Social Sciences on the material of my region and its natural resources to improve collaboration skills and understanding of grade IV elementary school students.
