Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan e-modul berbasis ESD pada topik pengolahan limbah plastik menjadi bahan bakar alternatif untuk mengembangkan identitas sains peserta didik. Tujuan khusus meliputi mendeskripsikan desain e-modul, memperoleh informasi mengenai kelayakan e-modul berdasarkan triangulasi hasil validasi para ahli, dan mengetahui profil identitas sains peserta didik setelah menggunakan e-modul. Penelitian ini menggunakan Design and Development Research (DDR) tipe satu yang berfokus pada pengembangan produk melalui tahapan specific project phases yang meliputi analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Partisipan dalam penelitian mencakup tujuh guru kimia pada tahap analisis kebutuhan, tiga validator (dua dosen ahli dan satu guru kimia), serta sembilan peserta didik kelas X dari salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung yang dipilih berdasarkan variasi kemampuan akademik pada uji terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul dikembangkan dengan memperhatikan indikator identitas sains dan aspek-aspek ESD, serta dirancang untuk memenuhi karakteristik bahan ajar digital dengan mengacu pada aspek isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafikaan. Hasil validasi ahli menyatakan bahwa e-modul layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan beberapa saran untuk penyempurnaan. Selain itu, profil identitas sains peserta didik menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan perkembangan yang positif, yang tercermin tidak hanya dari sikap dan pernyataan, tetapi juga dari ketercapaian kompetensi sains. This research aims to produce an e-module based on ESD on the topic of processing plastic waste into alternative fuel to develop students' science identity. Specific objectives include describing the e-module design, obtaining information about the feasibility of the e-module based on the triangulation of validation results from experts, and determining the science identity profile of students after using the e-module. This research uses Design and Development Research (DDR) type one which focuses on product development through specific project phases, including analysis, design, development, and evaluation. Participants in the research included seven chemistry teachers during the needs analysis phase, three validators (two expert lecturers and one chemistry teacher), and nine tenth-grade students from a high school in Bandung selected based on academic ability variations in a limited test. The research results indicate that the e-module was developed by considering science identity indicators and ESD aspects, and was designed to meet the characteristics of digital teaching materials by referring to content, presentation, language, and graphical content. Expert validation results state that the e-module is suitable for use in learning with some suggestions for improvement. Additionally, the science identity profiles of the students showed a positive growth trend, reflected not only in attitudes and statements but also in the achievement of science competencies.
