Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soal IPA berbasis etnosains dengan konteks makanan ketupat air Tanjung yang digunakan dalam asesmen pembelajaran untuk peserta didik sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh kebutuhan asesmen yang mampu mengintegrasikan nilai budaya lokal ke dalam pembelajaran sains, agar lebih kontekstual dan bermakna. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Design Based Research (DBR) dengan empat tahapan, yaitu: identifikasi masalah, perancangan solusi, implementasi dan evaluasi, serta refleksi dan revisi. Hasil pengembangan berupa soal pilihan ganda dan uraian yang memuat konsep sains seperti perpindahan kalor, perubahan zat, dan kandungan makanan, dikaitkan dengan proses pembuatan ketupat air Tanjung sebagai representasi kearifan lokal. Soal divalidasi oleh tiga ahli dan diuji cobakan kepada peserta didik. Analisis menggunakan model Rasch menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar soal memenuhi kriteria validitas, reliabilitas, serta memiliki daya pembeda yang baik. Refleksi dan revisi dilakukan berdasarkan hasil uji coba dan masukan dari peserta didik maupun guru. Kesimpulannya, soal berbasis etnosains ini layak digunakan sebagai alternatif asesmen yang kontekstual dan mendukung pembelajaran IPA yang mengaitkan ilmu pengetahuan dengan budaya lokal peserta didik. This study aims to develop ethnoscience-based science test items using the cultural context of ketupat air Tanjung as an assessment tool for elementary school students. The study is based on the need for assessments that incorporate local cultural values into science learning to make it more contextual and meaningful. The research applied a Design Based Research (DBR) approach consisting of four stages: problem identification, solution design, implementation and evaluation, and reflection and revision. The resulting product includes multiple-choice and essay questions integrating science concepts such as heat transfer, material changes, and food substances, contextualized through the process of making ketupat air Tanjung, a traditional local food. The items were validated by three experts and tested with elementary students. Analysis using the Rasch model showed that most items met the criteria for validity, reliability, and discriminatory power. Revisions were made based on trial results and feedback from both students and teachers. In conclusion, the ethnoscience-based items are feasible and appropriate for use as alternative assessments that support contextual science learning and connect scientific understanding with students’ cultural backgrounds.
