Abstract
ABSTRAK Pulau Panjang di Teluk Banten merupakan wilayah pesisir dengan potensi terumbu karang yang tinggi, namun terancam oleh tekanan ekologis dari aktivitas pelayaran, limbah, dan pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keanekaragaman terumbu karang dengan parameter fisika-kimia perairan. Penelitian dilakukan pada Februari 2025 di tiga stasiun dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode purposive sampling. Pengukuran dilakukan secara in situ dan ex situ, keanekaragaman dianalisis menggunakan metode transek garis dan indeks Shannon-Wiener (H’). Keanekaragaman terumbu karang ditemukan 6 bentuk pertumbuhan yang bervariasi dari rendah hingga sedang, dengan dominasi jenis Coral submassive dan Acropora. Hasil nilai rata-rata parameter menunjukkan suhu 29–30 °C, salinitas 30–35 ‰, pH 7,82–7,95, DO 5,3–5,9 mg/L, kecerahan 1,2–1,3 m, TSS 20,7–55,3 mg/L, nitrat 0,06–0,50 mg/L, dan ortofosfat 0,017–0,133 mg/L. Indeks keanekaragaman bervariasi dari 0,67 (rendah) hingga 1,33 (sedang). Parameter pH, DO, dan suhu masih dalam batas baku mutu, namun tidak dengan kecerahan, kekeruhan, salinitas, nitrat, ortofosfat, dan TSS. Analisis korelasi pearson menunjukkan distribusi variabel aktif dan observasi aktif menjadi dua komponen utama F1=66,9%; F2=33,1%, sebagai tekanan utama terhadap keanekaragaman, analisis korelasi pearson mendukung hasil korelasi dan mengidentifikasi nitrat, ortofosfat dan TSS sebagai tekanan utama terhadap ekosistem. Keanekaragaman di Pulau Panjang menunjukkan adanya korelasi dengan parameter fisika-kimia. Kata kunci: Terumbu karang, kualitas perairan, keanekaragaman, korelasi pearson, Pulau Panjang, Banten. ABSTRACT Panjang Island in Banten Bay is a coastal area with high coral reef potential, but is threatened by ecological pressures from shipping activities, waste, and tourism. This study aimed to analyze coral reef diversity using water physicochemical parameters. The study was conducted in February 2025 at three stations using a quantitative approach and purposive sampling method. Measurements were carried out in situ and ex situ, diversity was analyzed using the Line Intercept Transect method and the Shannon-Wiener index (H’). The results of coral reef diversity were found with growth forms found 6 lifeforms that vary from low to moderate, with the dominance of submassive Coral and Acropora species. The results of the average parameter values showed a temperature of 29–30°C, salinity 30–35‰, pH 7.82–7.95, DO 5.3–5.9mg/L, brightness 1.2–1.3m, TSS 20.7–55.3mg/L, nitrate 0.06–0.50mg/L, and orthophosphate 0.017–0.133mg/L. The H’ index varies from 0.67 (low) to 1.33 (moderate). The results show that the parameters of pH, DO, and temperature are still within the quality standard limits, but not with brightness, turbidity, salinity, nitrate, orthophosphate, and TSS. The results of the pearson correlation analysis show the distribution of active variables and active observations into two main components F1 = 66.9%; F2 = 33.1%, as the main pressure on diversity, the pearson correlation analysis supports the correlation results and identifies nitrate, orthophosphate and TSS as the main pressures on the ecosystem.
