    Abstract

    Pendahuluan: Kualitas tidur yang buruk merupakan masalah umum yang terjadi di kalangan pekerja kantor, yang memengaruhi kesehatan fisik, mental, dan produktivitas kerja. Sleep patch umumnya dikenal sebagai alternatif farmakologis, meskipun kemanjurannya dibandingkan dengan pendekatan lain belum diteliti dengan baik. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan sleep patch terhadap kualitas tidur pada pekerja kantor. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimen one group pre-test and post-test design. Sebanyak 45 pekerja kantor yang memiliki kualitas tidur buruk menerima intervensi sleep patch selama 14 hari, dan kualitas tidur mereka dinilai sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dengan menggunakan instrumen Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan rata-rata skor PSQI pre-test adalah 9,42 (SD 2,30) dan post-test 5,60 (SD 1,73), menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas tidur. Perbaikan terbesar terjadi pada latensi tidur (skor turun dari 1,42 menjadi 0,84), kualitas tidur subjektif (1,76 menjadi 1,09), dan gangguan tidur (1,27 menjadi 1,07). Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan (Z = -4,695; p = 0,000) yang menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik pada kualitas tidur sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan sleep patch. Simpulan: Sleep patch terbukti bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan kualitas tidur di kalangan pekerja kantoran. Sleep patch dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai bagian dari program kesehatan kerja, khususnya dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas tidur dan kesejahteraan karyawan. Disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan jangka waktu yang lebih panjang untuk mengevaluasi efek jangka panjang serta potensi efek samping dari sleep patch. Introduction: Poor sleep quality is a common problem among office workers, affecting physical and mental health as well as work productivity. Sleep patches are commonly known as a pharmacological alternative, although their efficacy compared to other approaches has not been well studied. Objective: To determine the effect of sleep patch use on sleep quality among office workers. Research Methods: This study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design. A total of 45 office workers with poor sleep quality received sleep patch intervention for 14 days, and their sleep quality was assessed before and after the intervention using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Results and Discussion: Statistical analysis revealed that the mean PSQI score before the intervention was 9.42 (SD 2.30) and after the intervention was 5.60 (SD 1.73), indicating an improvement in sleep quality. The greatest improvements were observed in sleep latency (score decreased from 1.42 to 0.84), subjective sleep quality (1.76 to 1.09), and sleep disturbances (1.27 to 1.07). The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant difference (Z = -4.695; p = 0.000), indicating a statistically significant difference in sleep quality before and after using the sleep patch. Conclusion: The sleep patch has been proven to be beneficial in improving sleep quality among office workers. The sleep patch can be considered as part of a workplace health program, particularly in efforts to improve sleep quality and employee well-being. Further research with a longer timeframe is recommended to evaluate the long-term effects and potential side effects of the sleep patch.
