    Abstract

    Kasus kekerasan terhadap anak usia dini semakin sering diberitakan di media massa dan media sosial, tidak hanya berdampak pada anak sebagai korban, tetapi juga menimbulkan efek psikologis pada orang tua, khususnya ibu sebagai pengasuh utama. Penelitian mengenai dampak tayangan media lebih banyak berfokus pada anak, sementara kajian terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis ibu masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh tayangan kasus kekerasan anak usia dini terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis ibu. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimen pretest-posttest with control group. Sampel terdiri dari 64 ibu yang memiliki anak usia 0–6 tahun di Kabupaten Sukabumi, terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (tayangan video kekerasan) dan kelompok kontrol (tanpa tayangan). Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert mencakup enam aspek kesejahteraan psikologis dan dianalisis secara deskriptif serta inferensial. ----- Cases of violence against early childhood are increasingly reported in mass media and social media. Such exposure not only affects children as victims but also has psychological effects on parents, particularly mothers as the primary caregivers. Research on the impact of media exposure has largely focused on children, while studies examining mothers’ psychological well-being remain limited. This study aims to investigate the influence of early childhood violence broadcasts on mothers’ psychological well-being. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 64 mothers with children aged 0–6 years in Sukabumi Regency, divided into an experimental group (exposed to violence-related videos) and a control group (not exposed). Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire covering six dimensions of psychological well-being and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics.
