Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan membilang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama konsep bilangan yang merupakan juga dasar dari pengembangan kemampuan matematika. Permasalahan yang terjadi di Pos PAUD Raudhatul Ahlam dalam memahami kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan antara lain guru jarang menyediakan media /alat peraga yang menarik bagi anak, serta pemilihan metode dan tekhnik dalam pembelajaran masih kurang bervariasi. Lokasi penelitian di PAUD Raudhatul Ahlam Kecamatan Cileunyi Kabupaten Bandung. Tujuan penelitian untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang penggunaan media kartu angka dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus diberikan dua kali tindakan dengan menggunakan indikator yang berbeda, setiap siklus diharapkan menunjukan hasil peningkatan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak. Hasil penelitian sebelum diberikan tindakan kemampuan konsep bilangan anak dari 10 anak secara presentase katagori BSB 28,5%, BSH 34,6%, dan MB 36,9%. Hasil akhir kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak setelah diberikan tindakan dari 10 anak secara presentase katagori BSB 96,1%, BSH 3,9% dan MB 0%. Bagi guru PAUD hendaknya menggunakan media yang lebih bervariatif dan menstimulasi tahapan perkembangan kognitif anak khususnya konsep bilangan, seperti penggunaan media kartu angka. bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengangkat kembali permasalahan yang ada tetapi dengan metode, teknik, strategi, dan media yang lain serta tindakan yang berbeda agar dapat memberikan masukan atau temuan baru khususnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak sehingga dapat mengambangkan potensi anak secara optimal. This research was motivated by the importance of the ability to count in everyday life, especially the concept of number which is also the basis of the development of mathematical skills. The problems that occur in early childhood Raudhatul Post Ahlam in understanding the ability to know the concept of numbers such as teachers rarely provide media / props that appeal to children, as well as the selection of methods and techniques in teaching is less variable. Location of research in early childhood Ahlam Raudhatul Cileunyi District of Bandung Regency. The purpose of the study was to obtain figures on the use of pictorial media card in improving children's ability to recognize the concept of numbers. The method used was action research . Implementation of this classroom action research consists of two cycles. Each cycle was given twice the action by using different indicators, each cycle is expected to show the resulting increase in the ability of the child to know the concept of numbers. The results of the study before being given the ability to act on the child's concept of number 10 in the percentage of children BSB category of 28.5%, BSH 34.6%, and 36.9% MB. Ability to know the final results of the concept of numbers given the actions of the child after the child's 10 categories BSB percentage 96.1%, 3.9% and MB BSH 0%. For early childhood teachers are the teachers should use the media more varied and stimulating children's stages of cognitive development, especially the concept of numbers, such as the use of a media card numbers. for further research is expected to raise again the problem but with the methods, techniques, strategies, and other media as well as different actions in order to provide feedback or new findings, especially in improving the child's ability to recognize the concept of numbers that can float the optimal potential of the child.
