    Abstract

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk rnengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh rnotivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di Grand Hotel Preanger Bandung. Penelitian ini rnenggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis data deskriptif. Teknik pengarnbilan sarnpel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan rnetode sensus atau sarnplingjenuh, yaitu seluruh populasi dijadikan sarnpel dengan rnelibatkan sarnpel sebanyak 60 orang karyawan dari berbagai departernen. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalarn penelitian ini rneliputi analisis regresi linear sederhana untuk rnenentukan hubungan antara variabel rnotivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan, uji-f untuk rnenguji signifikansi pengaruh rnotivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, perhitungan koefisien determinasi untuk rnengukur seberapa besar rnotivasi kerja dapat rnenjelaskan varians dari kinerja karyawan, serta uji effect size Cohen's d untuk rnengetahui seberapa besar efek atau pengaruh suatu variabel terhadap variabel lain secara praktis. Ternuan penelitian rnenunjukkan bahwa rnotivasi kerja rnerniliki pengaruh yang nyata terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana rnengungkapkan bahwa rnotivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di Grand Hotel Preanger Bandung. Koefisien determinasi rnenunjukkan bahwa rnotivasi kerja rnarnpu rnenjelaskan sebagian besar varians dalarn kinerja karyawan. Hasil uji effect size Cohen's d pun rnenunjukkan bahwa nilai yang diperoleh termasuk ke dalarn kategori ukuran yang sangat besar. Kata kunci: Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja Karyawan, Grand Hotel Preanger Bandung The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of influence of work motivation on employee performance at Grand Hotel Preanger Bandung. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive data analysis. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a census or saturation sampling method, where every member of the population was included in the sample, involving 60 employees from various departments. The data analysis methods used in this study included simple linear regression analysis to determine the relationship between work motivation and employee performance, the F-test to assess the significance of the influence of work motivation on employee performance, the calculation of the coefficient of determination to measure how much work motivation can explained the variation in employee performance, and Cohen's d effect size test to determine how much effect or influence one variable has on another variable in practical terms. The researchfindings indicate that work motivation had a significant influence on employee performance. The results ofthe simple linear regression analysis revealed that work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employeeperformance at Grand Hotel Preanger Bandung. The coefficient ofdetermination showed that work motivation can explained most ofthe variation in employee performance. The results ofthe Cohen's d effect size test also showed that the value obtainedfalls into the very large category. Keywords: Work Motivation, Employee Performance, Grand Hotel Preanger Bandung
