Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh perumusan masalah, ialah: Bagaimana perbandingan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan handout dan kelas yang menggunakan media realia pada mata pelajaran alat ukur? Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini bermula dari adanya hasil belajar siswa yang masih berada dalam kategori dibawah KKM sesuai dengan ketentuan sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa yang menerapkan media handout pada proses pembelajaran alat ukur mekanik presisi, mengetahui hasil belajar siswa yang menerapkan media realia pada proses pembelajaran alat ukur mekanik presisi, dan mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar antara kelas yang menerapkan media realia dengan kelas yang menerapkan media handout. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Experimental Design. Tipe kuasi eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Non-Equivalent (Pre-test and Post-test) Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran alat ukur dengan menggunakan media realia pada saat proses pembelajaran ternyata lebih besar dibandingkan dengan menggunakan media hand out, terbukti dengan hasil data post-test dengan menggunakan media realia menunjukan peningkatan yang lebih besar . This research is in the background by the formulation of the problem, is: How comparative increase students' learning outcomes between the classes that use handouts and classes that use realia media on the subject of measurement?Problems in this study stems from the existence of student learning outcomes which are in the category under KKM accordance with the provisions of the school. The purpose of the research conducted to determine the learning outcomes of students who apply media handout on the learning process of mechanical precision measuring instruments,know the learning outcomes of students who apply realia media in the learning process of mechanical precision measuring instruments,and know the difference between the increase in learning outcomes realia media class that implements the class that implements the media handout.The research method in this study uses a quantitative approach to the method of Quasi-Experimental Design.Quasi-experimental type used is the Non-Equivalent (Pre-test and Post-test) Control Group Design. The results showed that increase learning outcomes in subjects measuring instruments using realia media at the time was more of a learning process compared to using the media handouts, as evidenced by the post-test data results using realia media showed greater improvement.
