Abstract
Perpustakaan Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDIKTI) Wilayah IV memiliki peran dalam mendukung Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, namun layanan perpustakaannya masih terbatas, terutama dari sisi sistem digital yang terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis web atau E-Library sebagai website resmi perpustakaan LLDIKTI Wilayah IV, guna meningkatkan efisiensi layanan, aksesibilitas informasi, dan daya tarik pengguna. Sistem ini mencakup fitur utama seperti halaman beranda interaktif, integrasi OPAC berbasis SLiMS, direktori e-journal, tanya pustakawan, profil perpustakaan perguruan tinggi, jumlah koleksi, dan layanan e-resources dalam satu platform terpadu. Metode penelitian menggunakan Design and Development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall, serta teknik evaluasi melalui Usability Testing dan User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Partisipan terdiri dari dua ahli sistem informasi, dua ahli informasi, dan sepuluh pengguna perpustakaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif berbasis skala Likert. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek arsitektur website, sistem dinilai sangat baik oleh ahli sistem informasi; aspek kualitas informasi dinilai baik oleh ahli informasi; dan dari aspek kebergunaan, pengguna memberikan penilaian sangat baik. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa websiste “E-Library” yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai website perpustakaan di lingkungan LLDIKTI Wilayah IV. The library of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region IV plays a strategic role in supporting the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. However, its library services remain limited, particularly in terms of integrated digital systems. This study aims to develop a web-based library information system or E-Library as the official library website for LLDIKTI Region IV to enhance service efficiency, information accessibility, and user engagement. The developed website includes key features such as an interactive homepage, SLiMS-based OPAC integration, e-journal directory, ask-a-librarian feature, institutional library profiles, collection statistics, and e-resources, all consolidated into a unified platform. The research employed a Design and Development (D&D) approach using the Waterfall software development model, and evaluated the system using Usability Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Participants included two information system experts, two content experts, and ten library users. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics based on the Likert scale. The evaluation results showed that the website architecture was rated as excellent by information system experts; the quality of information content was rated good by content experts; and usability was rated excellent by library users. Thus, the results of this study indicate that the developed “E-Library” website is suitable for use as a library website in the LLDIKTI Region IV environment.
