    Abstract

    Pemahaman konsep matematika yang baik merupakan keterampilan dasar yang harus dimiliki siswa dalam menghadapi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Namun kenyataannya, pemahaman konsep matematika siswa masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team games tournament (TGT) berbantuan platform kahoot terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment tipe non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas 3 SDN 9 Nagrikaler, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model team games tournament dengan bantuan platform kahoot dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model think pair share berbantuan powerpoint. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model team games tournament berbantuan platform kahoot lebih baik dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika dibandingkan dengan model think pair share. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui hasil uji t-test dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 serta perhitungan N-Gain, di mana kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor rata-rata 0,78 kategori tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh 0,41 kategori sedang. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team games tournament berbantuan platform kahoot berpengaruh secara signifikan dan lebih baik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa sekolah dasar. ----- A good understanding of mathematical concepts is a fundamental skill that students must possess to face the development of science and technology. However, in reality, students' understanding of mathematical concepts is still relatively low. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model of the team games tournament (TGT) type assisted by the kahoot platform on elementary school students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design of the non-equivalent control group type. The research sample consisted of third-grade students at SDN 9 Nagrikaler, with the experimental class using the team games tournament model assisted by the kahoot platform and the control class using the think pair share model assisted by powerpoint. The results showed that the team games tournament model assisted by the kahoot platform was more effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics compared to the think pair share model. This is supported by the t-test results with a significance value of < 0.05 and the N-Gain analysis, where the experimental class achieved an average score of 0.78 (high category), while the control class achieved 0.41 (medium category). In conclusion, the use of the cooperative learning model of the team games tournament type assisted by the kahoot platform has a significant and positive impact on improving elementary school students’ understanding of mathematical concepts.
