Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari latar belakang anak autis yang duduk di bangku kelas 6 di SDN Tunas Harapan Bandung, yang sering melakukan perilaku flapping saat proses belajar berlangsung, sehingga proses belajar tidak maksimal. Berdasarkan kondisi diatas, peneliti mencoba apakah permainan puzzle dapat mengurangi frekuensi perilaku flapping pada subjek. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Single Subjeck Research. Desain yang digunakan dalam SSR ini adalah A-B-A. A1(Baseline sebelum intervensi), B(Intervensi), A2(Baseline setelah intervensi). Penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis SSR ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga fase dimana fase pertama atau baseline 1 (A1) sebanyak empat kali, fase kedua yakni intervensi (B) sebanyak delapan kali, dan fase ketiga yakni baseline2 (A2) sebanyak empat kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat penurunan frekuensi perilaku flapping setelah ada perlakuan intervensi dengan permainan puzzle logika gambar peta dunia, ini dibuktikan dengan perubahan rata-rata frekuensi perilaku flapping subjek. Frekuensi rata-rata perilaku flapping subjek sebelum diberikan intervensi ketika pembelajaran berlangsung adalah sebanyak 13 kali. Sedangkan frekuensi perilaku flapping selama diberikan intervensi mengalami penurunan menjadi 9 kali. Frekuensi perilaku flapping setelah intervensi menjadi 4 kali. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah permainan puzzle logika berpengaruh efektif terhadap penurunan perilaku flapping pada subjek. Berdasarkan perolehan/hasil penelitian, maka permainan puzzle dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif untuk mengurangi perilaku flapping Kata kunci : Permainan Puzzel, Perilaku flapping, anak autis This study begins with the background of autistic children attending 6th grade in SDN Tunas Harapan Bandung, which often do flapping behavior when learning takes place, so that the learning process is not optimal. Quantitative research with this type of SSR were conducted three phases where the first phase or the baseline 1 (A1) four times, the second phase of the intervention (B) eight times, and the third phase of the baseline2 (A2) as many as four times. The results showed there is a decrease in the frequency of flapping behavior after treatment with the intervention logic puzzle game world map image, is evidenced by the change in average frequency of flapping behavior of the subject. Average frequency of flapping behavior given the subject before the intervention when learning takes place is as much as 13 times. While the frequency of flapping behavior during a given intervention has decreased to 9 times. The frequency of flapping behavior after intervention to 4 times. The conclusion of this study is the effect logic puzzle game effectively to decrease flapping behavior on the subject.
