    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa pada materi Farm Animals, serta sejauh mana media tersebut memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan penguasaan kosakata siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre eksperimen tipe one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas I di SDN 2 Gunungcupu dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji-t dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media flashcard berbasis AR memberikan pengaruh terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa. Untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruhnya, analisis regresi dilakukan dan hasilnya menunjukkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,692, yang berarti sebesar 69,2% perubahan penguasaan kosakata siswa dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan media flashcard AR. Nilai F hitung sebesar 38,273 dengan signifikansi 0,000 menunjukkan bahwa model regresi signifikan secara statistik. Koefisien regresi sebesar 0,622 menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media ini memberikan pengaruh positif yang cukup kuat. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya pada materi Farm Animals. This study aims to investigate the effect of Augmented Reality (AR)-based flashcard media on students' English vocabulary mastery in the topic of Farm Animals, as well as to determine the extent to which the media contributes to improving students' vocabulary acquisition. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were first-grade students at SDN 2 Gunungcupu, with data collected through pretest and posttest assessments. Data analysis was conducted using a t-test and simple linear regression. The t-test results showed a significance value of 0,000 (< 0,05), indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. This demonstrates that the use of AR-based flashcard media has an impact on students’ vocabulary mastery. To determine the significance of this effect, a regression analysis was conducted, revealing a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0,692, which means that 69,2% of the changes in students’ vocabulary mastery were influenced by the use of AR flashcard media. The F-value was 38,273 with a significance level of 0,000, indicating that the regression model was statistically significant. The regression coefficient of 0,622 indicates that the use of this media provides a fairly strong positive effect. Therefore, it can be concluded that Augmented Reality-based flashcard media is effective as a learning tool to enhance elementary school students' English vocabulary mastery, particularly in the Farm Animals topic.
