Abstract
Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah mengenai kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan pendidikan di sekolah yang pimpinnya, hal tersebut diidentifikasikan oleh dari hasil Uji Kompetensi Kepala Sekolah pada kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah yang masih dibawah dari kompetensi lain. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai pengaruh supervisi manajerial pengawas terhadap kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Purwakarta Kabupaten Purwakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket tertutup yang disebarkan kepada sampel sebanyak 78 kepada kepala sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan kecenderungan umum dengan menggunakan Weighted Means Scored (WMS) diperoleh kecenderungan rata-rata untuk variabel X (Supervisi Manajerial Pengawas) memiliki kriteria sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum Supervisi Manajerial Pengawas di Kecamatan Purwakarta telah dilaksanakan dengan sangat baik. Kemudian kecenderungan rata-rata untuk variabel Y (Kemampuan Manajerial Kepala Sekolah) memiliki kriteria sangat baik. Angka tersebut menggambarkan bahwa kemampuan Manajerial Kepala sekolah di Kecamatan Purwakarta dalam penelitian ini adalah sangat baik. Hasil uji normalitas distribusi data menunjukkan kedua variabel tersebut, sehingga analisis data yang digunakan selanjutnya menggunakan statistik parametik. Korelasi variabel X dan Y memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,490, memiliki arti hubungan kedua variabel cukup kuat. Pengaruh yang diberikan variabel X terhadap variabel Y sebesar 24,0% dan 76,0% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Hasil uji regresi diperoleh persamaan Y ̂= 25,584 + 0,490X memiliki arti jika terdapat penambahan satu variabel X maka akan diikuti peningkatan 0,490 variabel Y. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa supervisi manajerial pengawas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dasar Kecamatan Purwakarta Kabupaten Purwakarta.Adapun rekomendasi penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah diharapakan lebih memahami tentang supervisi manajerial pengawas dan lebih mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan sekolah. Pengawas dalam menjalankan tugas supervisi manajerial melalui pembinaan, pemantauan, dan penilaian. Kepala Sekolah perlu mengadakan berbagai inovasi dalam pengelolaan pendidikan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisien sekolah. This research is raised the issues regarding principal's managerial ability in the management of education in schools , it is identified by the Head of the School Competency Test results on managerial competencies principals who are still under the competence of others. The aim of the the research was to obtain an overview of the regulatory influence of managerial supervision of managerial ability elementary school principal in the district of Purwakarta. The method used in this study the descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique using a closed questionnaire distributed to a sample of 78 to the elementary school principal. Based on calculations using the general tendency Weighted Means Scored (WMS) obtained the average propensity to variable X (Managerial Supervision of Supervisory) has criteria very well. This shows that the general supervision of Managerial Supervisory in District of Purwakarta has been implemented very well. Then, the average propensity to variable Y (Managerial Ability Principal) have a very good the criteria. The figure illustrates that the managerial capabilities in the District of Purwakarta Principals in this study is excellent. Data distribution normality test results show these two variables, so that subsequent data analysis using statistical parametik used. Correlation of variables X and Y have a significant relationship with a correlation coefficient of 0.490, meaning the relationship between the two variables is strong enough. The effect of a given variable X to variable Y for 24.0% and 76.0% influenced by other factors. The results obtained regression equation Y = 25.584 + 0,490X have meaning if there is the addition of the variable X it will be followed by increased 0.490 variable Y. The conclusion of this research that the supervision of the supervisory managerial positive and significant effect on the ability of elementary school principal managerial district of Purwakarta. The recommendations of the research that is expected to better understand the principals of supervisory and managerial supervision to better identify the problems faced by principals in school management. Supervisors in performing managerial tasks through coaching supervision, monitoring, and assessment. Principals need to conduct a wide range of innovations in the management of education in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the school.
