Abstract

Festival Rampak Genteng yang diselenggarakan oleh komunitas Jatiwangi Art Factory (JAF) merupakan representasi budaya lokal yang unik dan penuh nilai sosial. Dalam pelaksanaannya, keberlanjutan festival ini tidak lepas dari kekuatan modal sosial yang tumbuh dalam komunitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran modal sosial dalam komunitas JAF pada pelaksanaan Festival Rampak Genteng, serta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa norma kekeluargaan dan budaya gotong royong yang tercermin dalam konsep Babanton, kepercayaan berbasis keterbukaan dan integritas, serta jaringan sosial yang terbentuk dari tingkat lokal hingga internasional, berperan penting dalam membangun solidaritas dan kolaborasi di dalam komunitas. Bonding social capital menjadi modal sosial yang paling dominan, sementara bridging dan linking social capital masih perlu diperkuat untuk memperluas akses sumber daya eksternal. Modal sosial ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat identitas budaya lokal dan keberlanjutan Festival Rampak Genteng sebagai ruang pemberdayaan sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya masyarakat. Dalam konteks pendidikan, nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam praktik modal sosial komunitas JAF diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran IPS pada tema Pemberdayaan Masyarakat. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPS berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka, yang terdiri dari RPP, bahan ajar, media ajar, dan LKPD. Perangkat ini dirancang untuk mendorong pembelajaran kontekstual, kolaboratif, dan berbasis pengalaman melalui studi kasus dan kegiatan proyek. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini tidak hanya memberikan kontribusi terhadap kajian sosial-budaya, tetapi juga memperkaya model pembelajaran IPS yang relevan dengan kehidupan nyata peserta didik. The Rampak Genteng Festival organized by the Jatiwangi Art Factory (JAF) community is a representation of a unique local culture full of social values. In its implementation, the sustainability of this festival cannot be separated from the strength of social capital that grows in the community. This study aims to analyze the role of social capital in the JAF community in the implementation of the Rampak Genteng Festival, as well as its implications for learning Social Sciences (IPS). The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that family norms and mutual cooperation culture reflected in the Babanton concept, trust based on openness and integrity, and social networks formed from local to international levels, play an important role in building solidarity and collaboration within the community. Bonding social capital is the most dominant social capital, while bridging and linking social capital still need to be strengthened to expand access to external resources. This social capital contributes to strengthening local cultural identity and the sustainability of the Rampak Genteng Festival as a space for social, economic, and cultural empowerment of the community. In the context of education, the values contained in the practice of social capital of the JAF community are integrated into IPS learning on the theme of Community Empowerment. This research produces social studies learning devices based on the Independent Curriculum, consisting of lesson plans, teaching materials, teaching media, and worksheets. These devices are designed to encourage contextual, collaborative, and experience-based learning through case studies and project activities. Thus, this research not only contributes to socio-cultural studies, but also enriches the social studies learning model that is relevant to the real lives of students.
