    Abstract

The independence of the defense industry is a national priority aimed at preventing arms embargoes, as mandated through the strengthening of PT Pindad’s role as a domestic defense equipment manufacturer. Military operations conducted by the Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) require reliable logistical support, particularly in the distribution of fuel for combat vehicles. Currently, fuel distribution is still carried out using 20-liter jerry cans. To support the operational needs of a company consisting of 16 armored vehicles, approximately 3,200–4,000 liters of fuel are required. In response to these needs, PT Pindad is planning to develop an armored vehicle specifically designed for fuel transport. This design project aims to redesign PT Pindad’s existing armored vehicle into a fuel logistics carrier. The design process adopts the Scenario-Based Requirements Analysis Method (SCRAM), while the form follows function principle is used to emphasize functional value. The outcome of this project is a design for a combat fuel transport vehicle with an approximate capacity of 3,800 liters, featuring a control box system to simplify fuel distribution operations.
