Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh museum experience terhadap revisit intention wisatawan di Museum Sri Baduga, Bandung. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada fenomena meningkatnya peringkat pariwisata Indonesia yang belum berdampak pada peningkatan kunjungan ke museum, termasuk Museum Sri Baduga. Penelitian terdahulu membuktikan bahwa museum experience berpengaruh terhadap rasa kepuasan wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Museum Sri Baduga, namun belum diteliti apakah wisatawan yang merasa puas memutuskan untuk kembali berkunjung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantiatif dengan metode survei pada 106 responden (minimal 17 tahun) yang berkunjung ke Museum Sri Baduga pada periode waktu Maret–April 2025. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa museum experience berpengaruh signifikan terhadap revisit intention dengan kontribusi sebesar 74%, di mana dimensi celebrative experience menjadi faktor dominan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pengelola museum dapat meningkatkan aspek sosial, kegiatan interaktif dan kualitas pemandu untuk memperkuat pengalaman dan minat wisatawan. This study examines the influence of museum experience on tourists’ revisit intention at Museum Sri Baduga, Bandung. The research is motivated by the rise in Indonesia’s tourism ranking, which has not translated into increased museum visitation rates. While prior research demonstrates that museum experience significantly impacts visitor satisfaction, a critical gap persists in understanding how satisfaction translates into revisit intention. This study adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing survey data from 106 tourists (aged 17 years or older) collected between March–April 2025. Simple linear regression analysis revealed that museum experience accounts for 74% of the variance in revisit intention, with celebrative experience emerging the most influential dimension. Contrary to expectations, finding indicate that most of satisfied visitors prefer recommending the museum to others over repeat visits, highlight a disconnect between satisfaction and behavioral loyalty. The study recommends that museum management prioritize enhancing social interactivity, immersive programming, and tour guide development to foster deeper engagement and convert satisfaction into sustained visitation.
