Abstract
Tingginya konsumsi minuman kemasan pada remaja dapat menyebabkan kejadian obesitas, sehingga penting bagi mereka memiliki kemampuan untuk mengidentifikasi kandungan gizi melalui label gizi yang tertera pada kemasan minuman tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi korelasi antara pengetahuan, sikap, serta praktik penggunaan label gizi minuman kemasan dengan status gizi remaja melalui frekuensi konsumsi minuman kemasan. Uji statistik yang diaplikasikan adalah uji Path Analysis dengan total 60 responden. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan terdapat korelasi signifikan (p-value<0,05) antara pengetahuan dan praktik penggunaan label gizi dengan frekuensi konsumsi minuman kemasan, praktik dan frekuensi konsumsi minuman kemasan dengan status gizi, serta praktik penggunaan label gizi dengan status gizi melalui frekuensi konsumsi minuman kemasan sebagai variabel penghubung. Sementara itu, tidak terdapat korelasi (p-value>0,05) antara sikap penggunaan label gizi dengan frekuensi konsumsi minuman kemasan, pengetahuan dan sikap penggunaan label gizi dengan status gizi, serta pengetahuan dan sikap penggunaan label gizi dengan status gizi melalui frekuensi konsumsi minuman kemasan sebagai variabel penghubung. The high consumption of packaged drinks among teenagers can trigger obesity, so it is important for them to have the ability to identify nutritional content through the nutritional labels listed on beverage packaging. The purpose of this study was identify the correlation between knowledge, attitudes, and practices of using nutritional labels for packaged beverages with the nutritional status of adolescents through the frequency of consumption of packaged beverages. The statistical test applied was the Path Analysis test with a total of 60 respondents. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship (p-value < 0.05) between knowledge and practice of using nutrition labels with the frequency of consumption of packaged drinks, practice and frequency of consumption of packaged drinks with nutritional status, and practice of using nutrition labels with nutritional status through the frequency of consumption of packaged drinks as an penghubung variable. Meanwhile, there is no correlation (p-value>0.05) between attitudes towards the use of nutrition labels and the frequency of consumption of packaged drinks, knowledge and attitudes towards the use of nutrition labels with nutritional status, and knowledge and attitudes towards the use of nutrition labels with nutritional status through the frequency of consumption of packaged drinks as an penghubung variable.
