Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan gerak dasar pola langkah pencak silat di Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SDN Duri Kosambi 07 Jakarta Barat. Sampel berjumlah 30 siswa yang terbagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan mempertimbangkan kesetaraan karakteristik antar kelas. Kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran PjBL, sedangkan kelompok kontrol menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa rubrik penilaian kemampuan gerak dasar pola langkah pencak silat. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan perhitungan N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL memberikan pengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan gerak dasar pola langkah pencak silat. Dengan demikian, PjBL dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam pendidikan jasmani di tingkat sekolah dasar. The research instrument is in the form of a rubric for assessing basic movement ability of pencak silat step patterns. The results of data analysis using t-test and N-Gain calculation showed that the PjBL model had a significant influence on improving the basic movement ability of the pencak silat step pattern. Thus, PjBL can be an alternative effective learning strategy in physical education at the elementary school level.
