HUBUNGAN CHRONONUTRITION BEHAVIOUR DAN TINGKAT KONSUMSI DENGAN KEJADIAN OBESITAS SENTRAL PADA PEGAWAI PERKANTORAN BUMN DI CIANJUR

    Abstract

    Obesitas sentral merupakan salah satu jenis obesitas yang dianggap lebih berbahaya karena berhubungan dengan peningkatan risiko penyakit. Kasus obesitas sentral di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan hampir 2 kali lipat dari tahun 2007 (18,8 %) hingga tahun 2018 (31%). Di Kabupaten Cianjur terjadi lonjakan hampir dua kali lipat dalam prevalensi obesitas sentral dari tahun 2007 (15,7%) hingga tahun 2013 (23,8%). Kelompok pekerja BUMN menjadi salah satu karakteristik penderita obesitas sentral tertinggi sebesar 50,1%. Beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kejadian obesitas sentral pada pekerja diantaranya jenis kelamin, pendidikan, tingkat konsumsi makronutrien, dan chrononutrition behaviour. Tujuan: mengetahui hubungan chrononutrition behaviour dan tingkat konsumsi dengan kejadian obesitas sentral. Metode: desain penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 60 orang. Data diperoleh melalui pengukuran lingkar perut, wawancara Chrononutrition Profile - Questionnaire (CPQ), dan wawancara food recall 2x24 jam. Data diolah menggunakan aplikasi software IBM SPSS Statistic 21 dengan uji Chi-square. Dari enam komponen chrononutrition behaviour, breakfast skipping dan evening latency berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kejadian obesitas sentral (p-value < 0,05). Sedangkan, eating window, evening eating, night eating, dan largest meal tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kejadian obesitas sentral (p-value ≥ 0,05). Tingkat konsumsi energi dan karbohidrat berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kejadian obesitas sentral (p value < 0,05), sedangkan tingkat konsumsi protein dan lemak tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kejadian obesitas sentral (p-value ≥ 0,05). Disarankan bagi pegawai perkantoran untuk tidak melewatkan sarapan, menghindari makan malam terlalu dekat dengan waktu tidur, serta mengontrol asupan energi dan karbohidrat yang seimbang untuk mencegah obesitas sentral. Central obesity is one type of obesity that is considered more dangerous because it is associated with increased risk of disease. Central obesity cases in Indonesia have almost doubled from 2007 (18,8%) to 2018 (31%). In Cianjur Regency there was an almost two-fold jump in the prevalence of central obesity from 2007 (15,7%) to 2013 (23,8%). The BUMN worker group is one of the characteristics of the highest central obesity sufferers at 50,1%. Several factors can influence the incidence of central obesity in workers including gender, education, macronutrient consumption levels, and chrononutrition behaviour. Purpose: to determine the relationship between chrononutrition behaviour and consumption levels with the incidence of central obesity. Methods: This research design uses cross sectional. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a total sample of 60 people. Data were obtained through abdominal circumference measurement, Chrononutrition Profile - Questionnaire (CPQ) interview, and 2x24 hour food recall interview. Data were processed using IBM SPSS Statistic 21 software application with Chi-square test. Of the six chrononutrition behaviour components, breakfast skipping and evening latency were significantly associated with the incidence of central obesity (p-value <0,05). Whereas, eating window, evening eating, night eating, and largest meal were not significantly associated with the incidence of obesity (p-value ≥ 0,05). Energy and carbohydrate consumption levels were significantly associated with the incidence of central obesity (p-value < 0,05), while protein and fat consumption levels were not significantly associated with the incidence of central obesity (p-value ≥ 0,05). It is recommended for office employees not to skip breakfast, avoid eating dinner too close to bedtime, and control balanced energy and carbohydrate intake to prevent central obesity.
