    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman siswa tentang mitigasi bencana di sekolah yang terletak di daerah rawan bencana alam. Hal ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan media pembelajaran, di mana guru hanya menggunakan media gambar cetak dan video dari YouTube. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran Smart Box untuk memfasilitasi siswa sekolah dasar dalam mempelajari mitigasi bencana yang terdiri dari 4 sisi yaitu materi, permainan interaktif, video VR dan simulasi, serta soal evaluasi melalui permainan Oodlu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan media Smart Box pada materi mitigasi bencana di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pemerolehan data dalam penelitian ini melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, penilaian para ahli saat validasi produk dan angket respon siswa pada saat uji coba produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran Smart Box pada materi mitigasi bencana memperoleh rata-rata nilai dari uji ahli materi pembelajaran IPAS memperoleh persentase 94,44 % dengan kriteria sangat layak, uji ahli media pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 96,42 % dengan kriteria sangat layak, dan uji ahli pedagogik memperoleh presentase 88,46 % dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji angket respon siswa terhadap media Smart Box pada uji coba tahap I dan II mengalami peningkatan, dengan hasil 94,68 % dan 95,05 % pada kriteria sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, media Smart Box dinyatakan sangat valid dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. This research is motivated by the lack of students' understanding of disaster mitigation in schools located in areas prone to natural disasters. This is due to the limitations of learning media, where teachers only use printed images and videos from YouTube. Therefore, the researcher designed and developed Smart Box learning media to facilitate elementary school students in learning disaster mitigation consisting of 4 sides, namely materials, interactive games, VR videos and simulations, and evaluation questions through the Oodlu game. The purpose of this study was to describe the process of developing Smart Box media on disaster mitigation material in grade V of Elementary School. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model. Data acquisition in this study was through observation activities, interviews, documentation studies, expert assessments during product validation and student response questionnaires during product trials. The results of the study showed that the Smart Box learning media on disaster mitigation material obtained an average value from the IPAS learning material expert test of 94.44% with very feasible criteria, the learning media expert test obtained a percentage of 96.42% with very feasible criteria, and the pedagogical expert test obtained a percentage of 88.46% with very feasible criteria. The results of the student response questionnaire test on the Smart Box media in the first and second trials increased, with results of 94.68% and 95.05% in the very practical criteria. Thus, the Smart Box media is declared very valid and practical to use in the learning process.
