    Abstract

This research was motivated by the unavailability of supporting teaching materials for the topic of climate change, which is essential to be introduced to students from an early age. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a science literacy-based electronic module on the topic of climate change to help students understand climate change and the necessary actions to address it. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model. Data were collected through preliminary study observations, interviews, document analysis, expert validations, trial observations, limited trials, and field trials. The results of expert validation showed a score of 85.7% from material experts, 94.6% from module experts, and 85% from language experts all categorized as "Highly Feasible." The results of student response questionnaires in trial stages I and II showed an increase, with scores of 92.5% and 95.6%, respectively. Thus, the science literacy-based electronic module on the topic of climate change for fifth-grade elementary school students is highly valid and highly practical for use in the learning process.
