    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana gambaran sikap penerimaan prilaku mengumpat dan gambaran karakteristik demografi berdasarkan frekuensi mengumpat, tingkat pendidikan saat pertama kali mengumpat, Alasan seseorang mengumpat, emosi yang dikeluarkan saat mengumpat, respon atas perilaku mengumpat dan faktor ekternal seseorang untuk mengumpat pada remaja di Kota Bandung dalam masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang teliti adalah remaja di Kota Bandung umur 18-22 tahun yang berjumlah 300 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji statistik Person Product Moment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat sebesar 0,3 persen memiliki sikap penerimaan mengumpat yang sangat tinggi, 12,7 persen memiliki sikap penerimaan mengumpat tinggi, 65 persen memiliki sikap penerimaan mengumpat yang rendah dan 22 persen memiliki sikap penerimaan perilaku mengumpat yang sangat rendah. This study was conducted to find out and analyze how the description of the attitude of swearing behavior and the description of demographic characteristics based on the frequency of swearing, the level of education when first swearing, the reason someone swears, the emotions released when swearing, the response to swearing behavior and external factors someone to swear at teenagers in the city of Bandung during the covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive and verification methods with a quantitative approach. The research sample is teenagers in the city of Bandung aged 18-22 years, totaling 300 people. The analytical technique used is the Person Product Moment statistical test. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that 0.3 percent had a very high cursing attitude, 12.7 percent had a high cursing attitude, 65 percent had a low cursing attitude and 22 percent had a very low cursing attitude
