    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh herding behavior terhadap perencanaan keuangan dengan literasi keuangan sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada responden dengan metode purposive sampling, yaitu kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia angkatan 2021–2024. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa herding behavior berpengaruh negatif terhadap perencanaan keuangan dan literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif terhadap perencanaan keuangan. Sementara itu, literasi keuangan terbukti mampu memoderasi pengaruh herding behavior, dengan memperlemah dampak negatifnya terhadap perencanaan keuangan. This study aims to examine the influence of herding behavior on financial planning, with financial literacy as a moderating variable. A quantitative method with a descriptive approach was used in this research. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed using purposive sampling to students of the Accounting Study Program at the Indonesia University of Education from the 2021–2024 cohorts. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS. The results show that herding behavior has a negative effect on financial planning, while financial literacy has a positive effect on financial planning. Furthermore, financial literacy is proven to moderate the influence of herding behavior by weakening its negative impact on financial planning.
