Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil penelitian Hendra (2011) tentang hambatan epistimologis konsep luas daerah lingkaran. Untuk mengurangi hambatan tersebut, dibuatlah desain didaktis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui desain didaktis konsep luas daerah lingkaran dengan model kolaboratif dan sejauh mana desain didaktis ini dapat mengatasi hambatan epistimologis. Penelitian yang dilakukan di SMPN 7 Bandung kelas VIII-F menggunakan metode kualitatif dan deskriptif analisis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian berupa desain didaktis yang terdiri dari tiga lesson design. Desain didaktis yang telah dikembangkan dapat mengatasi learning obstacle yang muncul, namun terdapat satu persoalan yang belum teratasi. Peneliti menyarankan: (1) mengujicobakan lesson design sesegera mungkin meskipun dalam skala kecil; (2) meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mereprentasikan berbagai soal dalam berbagai bentuk; (3) bagi yang berminat silahkan mencoba lesson design revisi. The reason of this research because of Hendra’s research (2011) about epistemological obstacle in the circle area. Didactical design is made for decreasing epistemological obstacle. The purpose of research is to know didactical design of circle area concept through collaborative model and to know how didactical design to solve epistemological obstacle in circle area concept. The research where did in SMPN 7 Bandung at class VIII-F with 37 sample used qualitative and analysis descriptive method. Data qualitative where collected from test, observation, and documentation. The result is didactical lesson at circle area that consist of three lesson designs. This lesson design can solve epistemological obstacle, but there was a problem which was not solve yet. The proposition are: (1) who design didactical design should do the experiment immediately even in a little scale; (2) increasing the student ability in representation problems in many ways; (3) who are interest in this research should try the revision of lesson design.
