    Abstract

    Aljabar merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam pembelajaran matematika yang memberikan dasar kuat bagi kemampuan berpikir logis dan analitis peserta didik. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan, terdapat hambatan belajar pada pembelajaran aljabar materi perkalian dan pembagian di kelas V yang berupa hambatan epistemologi dan hambatan didaktik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun desain didaktis untuk meminimalisir hambatan belajar yang ditemukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas V SDN Pahlawan dan SDN 2 Nagarawangi,, Kota Tasikmalaya, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Didactical Desain Research (DDR) yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yakni: 1) analisis situasi didaktis sebelum pembelajaran berupa Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) beserta Antisipasi Didaktis Pedagogis (ADP), 2) analisis metapedadidaktik, dan 3) analisis retrospektif dengan mangaitkan analisis situasi didaktis sebelum pembelajaran dan analisis metapedadidaktik. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes uji learning obstacle (hambatan belajar), wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis hambatan belajar, peneliti merancang HLT beserta ADP. Kemudian peneliti merancang desain didaktis perkalian dan pembagian untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir aljabar peserta didik di kelas V sekolah dasar yang terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Setelah dilakukan implementasi, desain didaktis ini diperbaiki untuk meminimalisir kesulitan yang dialami peserta didik selama implementasi berlangsung. Hasil akhir penelitian ini berupa desain didaktis perkalian dan pembagian revisi yang masih dapat dikembangkan lagi dengan pengkajian yang lebih mendalam. Algebra is a crucial element in mathematics education, providing a strong foundation for students' logical and analytical thinking skills. Based on a preliminary study, learning obstacles were identified in the teaching of algebra, specifically in multiplication and division topics in Grade V, including epistemological and didactical obstacles. This study aims to develop a didactic design to minimize these learning obstacles. The research was conducted in Grade V at SDN Pahlawan and SDN 2 Nagarawangi, Tasikmalaya City, West Java Province. The study employed the Didactical Design Research (DDR) method, consisting of three stages: 1) analysis of the didactic situation before teaching, including the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) and Pedagogical Didactic Anticipation (ADP), 2) metapedadidactic analysis, and 3) retrospective analysis linking the pre-teaching didactic situation analysis and metapedadidactic analysis. Data were collected through learning obstacle tests, interviews, and document studies. The collected data were analyzed using a qualitative approach. Based on the analysis of learning obstacles, the researchers designed the HLT and ADP. Subsequently, a didactic design for multiplication and division was developed to enhance the algebraic thinking skills of Grade V elementary school students, consisting of two meetings. After implementation, the didactic design was refined to address difficulties encountered by students during the process. The final outcome of this study is a revised didactic design for multiplication and division, which remains open to further development with more in-depth exploration.
