    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh struktur modal dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahan pada perusahaan sub sektor teknologi yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2021-2023. Variabel bebas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari struktur modal yang diukur dengan menggunakan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dan profitabilitas yang diukur dengan menggunakan Return on Assets (ROA). Sedangkan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai perusahaan yang diukur dengan menggunakan Price to Book Value (PBV). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik dokumentasi melalui jenis data sekunder yang berasal dari laman resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan laman resmi perusahaan yang bersangkutan berupa laporan-laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan selama tahun 2021-2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 24 perusahaan selama 3 tahun pengamatan dari tahun 2021-2023 sehingga data observasi berjumlah 72 data observasi. Teknik estimasi regresi linier data panel menggunakan model Random Effect Model (REM). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian keberartian regresi menunjukkan hasil bahwa model regresi memiliki keberartian sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Variabel profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan sehingga dikeluarkan dari model dan diuji kembali untuk membuat model baru. This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure and profitability on firm company value in technology sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2021-2023 period. The independent variables used in this research consist of capital structure which is measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and profitability which is measured using Return on Assets (ROA). Meanwhile, the dependent variable in this research is firm value which is measured using Price to Book Value (PBV). The research method used in this research is a descriptive and verification method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used is documentation techniques using secondary data types originating from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and the official website of the company concerned in the form of the company’s annual financial reports for 2021-2023. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method with a research sample of 24 companies for 3 years of observation from 2021-2023 so that the observation data amounts to 72 observation data. The panel data linear regression estimation technique uses the Random Effect Model (REM). Based on the results of the regression significance test, the result show that the regression model has significance so that it can be used to draw conclusions. The results of hypothesis testing show that capital structure has an effect on company value, while profitability has no effect on company value. The profitability variable has no effect on company value so it is removed from the model and tested again to create a new model.
