Abstract

Kota Serang sebagai Ibu Kota Provinsi Banten memiliki lokasi yang sangat strategis yaitu sebagai pusat pemerintahan provinsi Banten. Kota Serang memiliki beberapa destinasi wisata utama, satu diantaranya adalah Kawasan Banten Lama, yang merupakan ikon Provinsi Banten itu sendiri. Banten Lama merupakan suatu kawasan wisata, berlokasi di Kecamatan Kasemen berjarak 12 Km ke arah utara dari pusat Kota Serang menuju teluk Banten. Kawasan tersebut berupa kompleks peninggalan Kesultanan Banten terdiri atas peninggalan-peninggalan sejarah diantaranya Masjid Agung Banten, Keraton, Benteng, Vihara dan Pemakaman Sultan-sultan Banten yang tentunya menjadi daya tarik wisata tersendiri bagi wisatawan terutama daya tarik wisata religi. Namun sampai saat ini Banten Lama cenderung tidak berkembang dan dikelola secara tidak optimal. Maka dari itu tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui potensi Banten Lama sebagai wisata religi, menentukan upaya optimalisasi pengelolaan Banten Lama dan menganalisis hubungan Partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pelestarian cagar budaya di kawasan Banten Lama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari populasi wilayah dan manusia, dimana populasi wilayahnya adalah Kecamatan Kasemen dengan sampel wilayah Desa Banten, sedangkan populasi manusia terdiri dari masyarakat Desa Banten dengan sampel 100 orang, 100 orang wisatawan dan 25 orang pengelola Banten Lama. Data diambil melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan angket, yang kemudian diolah dengan teknik presentase, analisis korelasi Spearman Rank, dan perngharkatan serta pembobotan. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari pengembangan kawasan wisata (Atraksi, sarana prasaran dan aksesibilitas) Variabel (X) berupa partisipasi masyarakat dengan variabel (Y).Hasil dari penelitian ini kawasan Wisata Banten Lama memiliki potensi yang cukup mendukung sebagai destinasi wisata religi, dilihat dari daya tarik wisata religi yang besar dan aksesibilitas yang cukup baik, hanya saja aspek sarana prasarana yang minim dan kurang mendukung sebagai suatu kawasan wisata. Optimalisasi pengelolaan Banten Lama harus segera mungkin di lakukan.Pemerintah dengan seluruh pihak-pihak terkait yang berwenang harussegeramenyelesaikan konflik-konflik yang terjadi sehingga terjadi hubungan yang harmonis, sinergis dalamupayaperencanaandanpembangunanfisikBanten Lama. Korelasi antara partisipasi masyarakat dengan kelestarian cagar budaya yang ada dikawasan Banten Lama sangat lemah, hampir tidak ada hubungan sama sekali, halini dikarenakan tidak ada upaya masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan usaha-usaha pelestarian cagar budaya. Serang City As the capital of Banten Province has a very strategic location as the central Government of Banten Province. Serang has some major tourist destinations, one of whom is the area of Banten Lama, which is an icon of Banten Province itself. Banten Lama is a tourist area, located in the District of Kasemen is 12 km to the North from the center of Serang to Banten Bay. The area of the complex legacy of the Sultanate of Banten consists of historical relics such as the Masjid Agung Banten, Palaces, Fortresses, Monasteries and Cemeteries sultans of Banten which would become its own tourist attraction for tourists, especially religious tourism attraction. However until now Banten Lama tend not to develop and not privately optimal.Therefore the aim of this research is to know the potential of Banten Lama as religious tourism, management optimization efforts, determines the Banten Lama and analyze the relationship of community participation with respect to the preservation of cultural heritage in the area of Banten Lama. The methods used in this research is descriptive method. This research consists of the human population of the area and population of the territory, which is Sub Kasemen with samples of the Banten Village, while the human population consists of the Banten village community with a sample of 100 people, 100 tourists and 25 people of Banten Lama Manager Data extracted through techniques of observation, interview and question form, which is then treated with the technique of the correlation analysis, percentage of the Spearman Rank, and scoring as well as weighting. Research on variable consists of the development of the tourist (attractions, means prasaran and accessibility) Variables (X) in the form of community participation with variable (Y) ispreservation of cultural heritageThe results of this research, the tourist area of Banten Lama has sufficient support as a potential destination for religious tourism, as seen from the appeal of religious tourism and accessibility is good enough, it's just a minimal infrastructure aspects and less support as a tourist area. Optimization of the management of Banten Lama must immediately may do.The Government and all parties concerned authorities should immediately resolve conflicts that occur so a synergistic, harmonious relationships in the physical planning and development efforts of Banten Lama. The correlation between public participation with preservation of existing heritage Banten Lama area is very weak, almost no relationship at all, this is because there is no community efforts with regard to the efforts of cultural preservation.
