Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh ketertarikan penulis akan pembelajaran orang dewasa pada pelatihan teknis pengolahan bagi non aparatur yang dilaksanakan di BBPP Lembang. Menjadi pendekatan dalam pembelajaran pada pelatihan ini mendorong peneliti untuk mengkaji lebih lanjut tentang orientasi belajar dari peserta. Orientasi belajar itu sendiri merupakan arah tindakan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai potensi kehidupan dan kebutuhan untuk bisa menghadapi permasalahan yang dialami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh gambaran tentang: 1) potensi diri dan kebutuhan yang dihadapi peserta pelatihan, 2) implementasi hasil pelatihan oleh peserta pelatihan, 3) upaya merumuskan orientasi belajar peserta pelatihan 4) tindak lanjut pelatihan. Tinjauan konseptual teoritik penelitian ini mencakup konsep pendidikan luar sekolah, konsep pelatihan, konsep pendidikan orang dewasa, dan konsep orientasi belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subyek penelitian widyaiswara dan peserta pelatihan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan triangulasi data di BBPP Lembang. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut : (1) peserta pelatihan sudah memahami akan potensi diri mereka. Tetapi, dari kelima indikator yang diteliti, hasil yang paling dominan yaitu indikator motivasi, empati dan keterampilan sosial. Sedangkan dari aspek kebutuhan yang dihadapi, peserta sudah mengerti akan kebutuhan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan produktivitas kerja peserta. (2) peserta pelatihan akan langsung mengimplementasikan di kehidupan dan kegiatan sehari-hari peserta dari apa yang sudah di pelajari selama kegiatan pelatihan berlangsung. Karena peserta sudah memiliki keterampilan dalam membuat inovasi baru dari hasil pertanian. (3) widyaiswara membuat rumusan orientasi belajar sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan harapan peserta pelatihan. Orientasi belajar yang lebih difokuskan adalah orientasi pengetahuan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan. (4) widyaiswara akan mengadakan tindak lanjut kepada peserta pelatihan setelah kegiatan pelatihan selesai. Dan kegiatan tindak lanjut akan dilaksanakan setelah tiga bulan setelah pelatihan selesai. Kegiatan tindak lanjut ini berlangsung selama empat hari dan kegiatannya dilaksanakan di daerah asal peserta pelatihan. Rekomendasi terhadap orientasi belajar orang dewasa ini diharapkan peserta lebih memahami potensi diri mereka secara keseluruhan dan kebutuhan yang dihadapi, serta diharapkan mengaplikasikan apa yang sudah dipelajari dari kegiatan pelatihan di kehidupan sehari-hari. Serta widyaiswara membuat orientasi belajar untuk peserta lebih baik lagi agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta. Dan lembagapun harus mendukung agar dapat menghasilkan peserta yang berkualitas. This research is motivated by the author's interest toward adult learning orientation on participants processing non technical training for non apparatus that was conducted in BBPP Lembang. Being in a learning approach to training encourages researchers to examine learn more about the orientation of the participants. Orientation learning is a course of action in the learning process to achieve the potential of life and necessity to cope with the problems experienced. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of: 1) potential and necessity that faced by the participants, 2) implementation of the results training by participants, 3) efforts to formulate a learning orientation participants 4) follow-up training. Conceptual overview in this study covers the theoretical concept of non-formal education, training concept, the concept of adult education, and the concept of learning orientation. The method used in this research is descriptive method, and uses a qualitative approach with research subjects, and they are trainers and participants. The techniques of collecting data used interview, observation, document study, and triangulation of data in BBPP Lembang. the results obtained the following conclusions: (1) will have to understand their own potential. However, from the five indicators studied, the dominant result is motivation indicator, empathy and social skills. While from the necessity aspect the participants have understand about the knowledge and skills to improve their welfare and productivity. (2) the participants of training will be implemented what have been learned during the training activities immediately in their life and daily activities. Because they already have skills in making new innovations of agricultural products. (3) widyaiswara have make formulation of learning orientation in accordance with necessity and expectations of them. The orientation learning is more focuse to knowledge orientation. (4) widyaiswara will hold a follow-up to the participants after the training finished. And follow-up activities will be carried out on three months after the training completed. This follow-up activity lasted for four days and the activities conducted in their region. Recommendations toward adult learning orientation is expected that participants understand their overall potential and necessity, and can apply what they have learned of the training activities in daily life. And widyaiswara make learning orientation be better to participants in order to appropriate with their necessity. And the institution must support to produce excellent quality of the participants.
