Abstract
Pengaruh Metode Field Trip Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Karangan Deskripsi pada Peserta didik Tunarungu (Studi Eksperimen pada Peserta didik Kelas V SDLB Negeri Cicendo Kota Bandung). Program Studi Pendidikan Khusus, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, 2014. Masalah yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah penggunaan metode field trip dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi peserta didik tunarungu di SLB Negeri Cicendo?”. Permasalahan yang dikaji dibatasi pada: membuat judul karangan, menuliskan isi karangan berdasarkan hasil pengalaman, membuat kalimat sesuai struktur kalimat, menulis karangan dengan menggunakan tanda baca yang tepat, menulis karangan dengan memperhatikan penggunaan huruf kapital secara tepat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan satu kelompok pretest-posttest (One Group Pretest-Posttest Design). Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan tes kinerja (praktik). Instrumen penelitian dalam penelitian ini berupa alat tes kinerja menulis, perangkat pembelajaran yang berkaitan dengan metode field trip. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas V SDLB, dan peserta Didik kelas V SDLB Negeri Cicendo Kota Bandung. Pengolahan data menggunakan statistik nonparametrik dan di uji dengan uji wilcoxon. Uji wilcoxon ini digunakan untuk menguji data sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan secara berpasangan , sehingga dapat mengetahui efektivitas perlakuan dari metode field trip terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menulis karangan deskripsi menggunakan metode field trip pada aspek-aspek yang diteliti. Effect of Improved Methods of Field Trip Against Essay Writing Ability Description on Deaf Learners (Experimental Study on Learners Class V SDLB Cicendo Bandung). Special Education Studies Program, Faculty of Education, University of Education Indonesia, 2014 issue analyzed in this study is "Does the use of the field trip method can improve the ability to write essays description of deaf learners in SLB Cicendo?". The problems studied limited to: making the title essay, write essays based on the contents of experience, make the appropriate sentence sentence structure, essay writing using proper punctuation, writing essays with regard to the use of capital letters appropriately. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with an experimental method using one group pretest-posttest (pretest-posttest one group design). Data collection techniques implemented using test performance (practice). Research instrument in this study in the form of writing performance test tool, device-related learning field trip method. The subjects were SDLB fifth grade teacher, and students class V SDLB Cicendo Bandung. Processing data using nonparametric statistical test and the Wilcoxon test. Wilcoxon test was used to examine the data before and after treatment in pairs, so as to determine the effectiveness of the treatment method of the field trip to the increased ability to write essays description. The results of this study indicate that an increase in the ability of students in writing essays using the description field trip on the aspects studied.
