Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain program untuk meningkatkan kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autistik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan langkah-langkah yang diawali dengan tahap identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi dan studi literatur, desain produk, validasi desain dan desain teruji sebagai tahap akhir. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Zonakata Kota Pontianak dengan dua orang yang menjadi subjek penelitian yaitu guru dan anak autistik. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa program layak digunakan dengan presentase skor kelayakan sebesar 82% dan 75% dari dua orang validator. Program disusun untuk meningkatkan kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autistik diantaranya kemampuan menjalin kontak mata, kemampuan memulai interaksi, dan kemampuan merespon interaksi melalui kegiatan bermain flashcard, bermain drum snare, dan bermain permainan tradisional. Rekomendasi bagi sekolah, guru, dan orang tua hendaknya dapat memberikan dukungan yang lebih baik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autistik serta bagi peneliti selanjutnya, penelitian ini perlu ditindaklanjuti untuk melihat keberhasilan dari program tersebut. This study aimed to design a program to improve the social interaction skills of autistic children. The research design used in this research was Research and Development (RnD) with steps starting with the identification of potential and problems, information gathering and literature study, product design, design validation and tested design as the final stage. This research was conducted at Zonakata Kindergarten, Pontianak City which consist of two people who became research subjects, namely teachers and autistic children. The data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study showed that the program was feasible to use with a feasibility score percentage of 82% and 75% from two validators. The program is designed to enhance the social interaction skills of autistic children including eyes contact skills, initiating interactions, and responding to interactions through activities such as flashcard games, snare drum playing, and traditional games. Recommendations for schools, teachers, and parents should be able to provide better support to improve the social interaction skills of autistic children and for further researchers, this research needs to be followed up to see the success of the program.
