Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung. Hal ini ditunjukan dari nilai rata-rata Ujian Akhir Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014, yang belum mencapai nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM). Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh fasilitas belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey explanatory, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket /kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda dengan mengggunakan bantuan program SPSS 17 for windows. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII jurusan IPS SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung dengan jumlah 4007 dan diambil sampel sebanyak 364 siswa dari 11 sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas belajar dan disiplin belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang, begitupun dengan hasil belajar siswa. Secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas belajar dan disiplin belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dan secara simultan fasilitas belajar dan disiplin belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan fasilitas belajar siswa, baik di sekolah maupun di rumah harus ditingkatkan baik kualitas maupun kuantitasnya agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan efektif sehingga memberikan hasil yang optimal, begitu juga dengan disiplin belajar siswa harus ditingkatkan agar memperoleh hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci : fasilitas belajar, disiplin belajar, hasil belajar Backgrounds in this study were the low of students learning outcomes of senior high schools in Bandung. It was showed that the average results of their final odd semester exam were still below the standard minimum completeness criteria (KKM). The objective of this study was to determine the effect of facility and discipline of learning toward students learning outcomes on economy subject. This study used survey explanatory method and techniques in collecting data used questionnaire. Data were analyzed used double linear regression technique by using SPSS 17 for windows. Population of this study were the third grade of social science classes of senior high schools in Bandung with amount 4007 students and sample were 364 students that derived from 11 schools. The results this study revealed that facility and discipline of learning had moderate category and also with learning outcomes of the students. In partial, facility and discipline showed positive effect toward learning outcomes. Simultaneously, facility and discipline of learning had positive effect toward students learning outcomes. This study recommends that facility and discipline of learning have to enhance, as quality and quantity, at schools event at home. The enhancement of facility and discipline of learning in order to make teaching and learning more effective and the learning outcomes of the students will be better.
